Lucky 15 Tips: Maghlaak primed to continue progress

There are three UK meetings set to take place on Monday, with jumps action in the afternoon and all-weather fare later in the day.
Ludlow and Ayr provide the afternoon National Hunt action before Wolverhampton takes over in the evening slot, with 21 races across the three venues. We have picked out our Lucky 15 tips from Monday's meetings.
Lucky 15 Tips - Monday, January 6
13:15 Ludlow – My Mate Polly @ 5/1
A field of nine are set to compete in the Simply Delicious Cakes Novices' Handicap Chase and recent Wincanton winner Dunstall Rambler could prove popular in the betting. Tom George's charge won with plenty to spare three weeks ago, but has to prove his stamina over this longer trip.
Bill Turner's mare MY MATE POLLY is a viable alternative, especially if the market continues to underestimate her.
She outran odds of 100/1 on her chasing bow at Exeter in October and won at 28/1 on her third start at Wincanton in November. She was double-figure odds in the follow-up attempt at Taunton last time and finished second.
She runs here off the same mark and her stamina is assured as she now goes back up in trip.
Place a win or each way single on this race, and if your horse finishes 2nd, we will refund your stake in Free Bets up to £10.
15:10 Ayr – Maghlaak @ 1/1
Adrian Keatley's MAGHLAAK has found his groove over hurdles and is fancied to record a treble.
The son of Muhaarar won a Wetherby novice (2m, good to soft) over Christmas, showing improved form on his fourth start over jumps, and duly built on that to make a winning handicap debut at Catterick over a similar trip on New Year's Day, cruising clear to win.
He carries a 7lb penalty for that, but he has James Robottom claiming 10lb again in the saddle and they will be hard to stop if in the same form.
17:00 Wolverhampton – Classy Clarets @ 10/3
This 6f Class 5 event at Dunstall Park is perhaps less competitive than a field of 11 suggests. Class-dropper Lequinto is forecast to head the betting but has done his winning over longer trips than this and he might prove vulnerable to something with a bit more pace.
CLASSY CLARETS fits the bill, having won here over 5f last month for Richard Fahey.
The Cotai Glory gelding had to be brave in making the most of a slender gap between rivals to come and win that race and, now aged four, he has scope for better on the synthetic surfaces with Oisin Orr now taking over in the saddle.
18:30 Wolverhampton – Brewing @ 7/2
William Haggas and Cieren Fallon team up with BREWING for this 7f contest and the Showcasing gelding is expected to go well.
His career has been interrupted by some setbacks but he won five of his first seven on the all-weather from late 2022 through to the early part of last year.
He missed another 224 days and has been working back to his best in four runs since the autumn.
He ran well over C&D in November, beaten a length, and was competitive again since at Chelmsford. Eased another pound, first-time blinkers could help him make the perfect start to this calendar year.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £410 for your total £7.50 stake.
