Lucky 15 Tips: Media Mogul worth watching at Redcar

Easter Monday brings with it a healthy chunk of racing action, with a whopping eight cards across Britain and Ireland. 

Jumps fare is headlined by the Irish Grand National card at Fairyhouse, alongside Plumpton, Cork, Fakenham and Chepstow, while they race on the Flat at Wolverhampton and Kempton on the all-weather as well as Redcar on turf. It's a bumper day, with 61 races on the programme, and we've put together a Bank Holiday Monday Lucky 15 tips below.

13:49 Chepstow – Gaelic Rambler @ 11/4

GAELIC RAMBLER was beaten five lengths when finishing third in a three-horse maiden over hurdles at Chepstow last month on his Rules debut. 

He ran well for most of that journey but was ceding experience and race fitness to his two rivals and it showed late on. 

That pair had both shown ability before that race and the runner-up has won since at Ffos Las for Rebecca Curtis. 

This Walk In The Park gelding is entitled to be plenty sharper for that outing five weeks ago and the rivals he faces now don't have as much going for them as the duo that held him off last time. 

Gaelic Rambler can oblige for Jonjo & AJ O'Neill at the second time of asking, with Jonjo Jr in the saddle. 

14:40 Fairyhouse – Wendrock @ 4/1

WENDROCK was an eye-catching sixth in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham last month for Gordon Elliott in the Gigginstown silks. 

Jack Kennedy held him up and they made good late progress but were never truly in contention for the honours. 

The four-year-old has since tackled the Grade 1 Juvenile Hurdle at Aintree and ran well, finishing fifth as Murcia won for Willie Mullins. 

This Grade 2 doesn't have the same depth as that race on Merseyside did and, on ratings, Sam Ewing's partner has a very good chance. 

15:05 Redcar – Media Mogul @ 1/1

Ed Walker and Tom Marquand can team up for a winner at Redcar with MEDIA MOGUL in the Market Cross Jewellers Handicap, a Class 5 stayers contest over 1m6f. 

The four-year-old has been improving on the all-weather scene in six starts and got his head in front sporting first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton over 1m4f last month. 

His earlier second at Newcastle reads like decent form, too, and he beat off an in-form runner-up to win at Dunstall Park as It's A Love Thing was denied a hat-trick. 

Media Mogul is 4lb higher now making his debut on turf but should act on this surface and the extra 2f here looks likely to suit. 

15:45 Plumpton – Authentic Legacy @ 17/2

Gary & Josh Moore have their team in good order at the moment and AUTHENTIC LEGACY looks a solid contender for them in the Southern Cranes Novices' Handicap Hurdle over the extended two-and-a-half-miles at Plumpton. 

The son of Authorized has taken well to this discipline, finishing out of the first three in only one of his seven starts. 

He has tackled trips from 2m-2m5½f, scoring in good fashion over an extended two miles at Newbury on his penultimate start in early March. 

He only found one too strong at Fontwell over this sort of trip since, pulling a long way clear of the rest, and from an unchanged mark he can go well despite this being a stronger grade. 

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
