Lucky 15 Tips: Four tips to follow on Monday

There are five meetings taking place across Britain and Ireland on Monday and all of the day’s action comes on the level,.
Redcar gets us underway and Carlisle is the afternoon’s other fixture, before Roscommon, Windsor and Wolverhampton provide the evening entertainment.
Here we select four horses to follow on Monday and they can be combined into a Lucky 15 and they include an improving Iain Jardine-trained colt who was victorious last time out.

14:30 Carlisle - Argentine Tango @ 7/1
Tim Easterby runs ARGENTINE TANGO here and the two-year-old has made a good start to her career thus far. With form figures of 1-2 she has done very little wrong. Her debut second at Beverley was a very good effort and the form looks rock-solid.
She was a tad fired up at the post and showed signs of greenness at a key stage of the race but stuck to her task well once the penny dropped. The winner went on to win the Lily Agnes Stakes at Chester and several other subsequent winners have come out of the race.
Making virtually all the running at Pontefract next time, she was pestered throughout but kept on well to score by half-a-length. Obviously she’ll need to improve again under a penalty here but her profile suggests progress could be on the cards.
15:30 Carlisle - Jonny Concrete @ 4/1
Iain Jardine’s JONNY CONCRETE took a while to get off the mark last term, but managed to do so when scoring at Ayr over 7f in August. He then managed to go in again a couple of starts later over this shorter trip at Ayr again on his final start at three.
Picking up where he left off on seasonal debut at Musselburgh, he scored by a neck off a 3lb lower mark. It’s reasonable to expect that he can improve for the run and the return to 6f shouldn’t be an issue.
Carlisle’s stiff finish could suit over this shorter trip and there could be more to come from him as a four-year-old.
18:50 Windsor - Twilight Jet @ 14/1
TWILIGHT JET shouldn’t be ignored here as the six-year-old has some excellent form in Group company for previous connections.
While it’s noted that many of his best efforts have come over 5f, he was an impressive winner of a Group 3 over this trip in 2022.
Last season wasn’t his finest campaign, but he was a very narrow second in a Listed race at Tipperary in May. Making his debut for a new yard here, this is by far his easiest task in a while and he should be competitive off a mark of 96.
19:20 Windsor - Carnival Day @ 13/2
CARNIVAL DAY has a very respectable record on turf, with two wins and three placed efforts in eight starts on the grass. He appears to be on a competitive mark now and a return to form is anticipated with that in mind.
The son of Invincible Spirit bolted up at Brighton off a 9lb lower mark back in September and the form has worked out reasonably well.
Jim Boyle’s four-year-old then followed up with a smooth success in a better race at Sandown off a mark of 73, which is just 3lb lower than his current rating.
We’ll need to see proof that 1m4f suits but he deserves another chance here.
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £XX for your total £7.50 stake.
