Lucky 15 Tips: Four selections to follow on Monday

There are no fewer than five meetings taking place across Britain and Ireland on Monday, which gives us plenty of action to sink our teeth into. Down Royal and Wexford host the action in Ireland, whilst Britain’s Jumps cards come from Fontwell and Southwell, with Wolverhampton providing the all-weather entertainment in the evening.
We’ve picked out four of our strongest fancies across the day which can be combined to form a fascinating Lucky 15.
Lucky 15 Tips - Monday, March 17
15:12 Fontwell - Continuance @ 6/4
Watch out for Martin Keighley’s CONTINUANCE here, as the juvenile is one mishap away from being three from four over hurdles. He produced a very professional display to score by a wide margin on his hurdling debut at Sedgefield, despite being a little keen early on.
Triumph Hurdle third East India Dock proved to be too much when upped to Grade 2 level at Cheltenham after that, but he looked the most likely winner before running out at the second last at Catterick.
Clearly the switch to handicaps worked as he pulled nicely clear to score by five lengths at Ludlow last time out and one would imagine there’s more to come in this sphere.
15:55 Wexford - Majestic Force @ 11/10
MAJESTIC FORCE cost £120,000 after bolting up in an Irish point at Lingstown in December 2023 and the horse that was well beaten in fifth has since won a bumper under rules, providing some substance to the form.
She made her rules debut in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown in February 2024 and produced a powerful display to get off the mark at the first time of asking. Three of her five rivals that day have won since and she’s clearly a talented mare.
Narrowly denied by Spindleberry when second in a beginners’ chase at Cork in December, she was too bad to be true when well beaten at Naas after that and Henry de Bromhead’s mare can get back on track here.
16:40 Southwell - Aggagio @ 3/1
AGGAGIO could be the one to watch in this race, after earning a confidence-boosting success at Warwick when last seen.
The key thing to note here is that he avoids a penalty for that win, which could make all the difference here.
Now could be the time to catch him with that in mind, as the handicapper isn’t likely to be kind when reassessing him further down the line.
Eight days should be enough recovery time for this seven-year-old, who has won off higher marks in the not too distant past.
16:55 Fontwell - Catchintsavo @ 13/8
Anthony Honeyball is often a trainer to follow in bumpers and it could be worth keeping an eye on one of his two runners, CATCHINTSAVO, in the final race on the card.
It could be significant that Sam Twiston-Davies has been booked for the ride and there was plenty to like about his debut effort, when he finished second in a Class 2 at Exeter.
This race certainly looks easier and he probably wouldn’t need to improve much to go one better here.
The yard is in fine recent form, operating at a strike-rate of 30 per cent in the last fortnight, and another winner could be in the offing.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon our selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £95 for your total £7.50 stake.
