Lucky 15 Tips: Four strong fancies to follow on Monday

It’s Cheltenham Festival Eve on Monday and there are four meetings taking place across Britain, three in the afternoon and one in the evening.
Stratford (13:50-16:50) is the first to get underway, whilst Taunton (14:05-17:10) and Plumpton (14:30-17:00) follow soon after and Newcastle (17:30-20:30) takes us through the evening with an intriguing all-weather card. We’ve picked out four horses to follow across the day and they could be combined to form our Lucky 15 tips for Monday.

14:05 Taunton - Good For You @ 3/1
GOOD FOR YOU looked badly in need of the experience when finishing fourth here on debut and his jumping left plenty to be desired on that day. He went on to produce a better performance when runner-up in an open maiden hurdle at Wincanton next time.
Not the smoothest of travellers, one would imagine that will come with experience and he showed a good attitude to stick to his task well.
The winner got pretty close to the smart prospect Regents Stroll next time, suggesting that there’s some substance to the form.
Jane Williams has two winners from her three runners in the last fortnight and this improving sort could add to that tally, now back up against his fellow juveniles.
15:10 Taunton - Renoir @ 15/2
Handicap debutant RENOIR has only had two starts over hurdles so far and it seems likely that he’ll be winning races in this sphere before long.
Ben Clarke’s gelding has finished second both times and an opening mark of 105 looks intriguing.
He won over 1m4f on the Flat and shaped as if he will get further than two miles in this discipline at some point further down the line.
Winning over this trip shouldn’t prove beyond him at the moment though and improvement is expected in handicap company.
Sticking to his task well on both hurdles starts, he never really looked like troubling the winner on either occasion, but showed enough to suggest he would be capable of getting off the mark sooner rather than later.
This is an Extra Place Race, meaning that Betfred will pay 3 Places (1/5 Odds) instead of 2.
15:20 Stratford - Moon Chime @ 9/2
MOON CHIME was a comfortable winner of a maiden hurdle at Huntingdon last year and the form has worked out reasonably well, with the second winning next time and the horse back in 13th has since scored for Willie Mullins.
The seven-year-old was a fortunate winner at Newcastle after that, as he looked booked for second place before the probable victor fell at the last hurdle. He did manage to finish 54 lengths ahead of the only other finisher.
David Killahena & Graeme McPherson’s seven-year-old has only had two starts in handicap company and is hopefully unexposed with that in mind, so his improved effort when third at Ludlow recently suggests there could be more to come in this sphere.
Place a win single bet up to £50 on this race, and if your selection wins, we will give you a 10% cash boost on top of your winnings!
15:40 Taunton - Laskalin @ 5/2
Venetia Williams has long been a trainer to watch in marathon handicap chases and she has two runners in this 3m4½f event at Taunton.
It’s not stable jockey Charlie Deutsch’s mount that draws the attention, however, with the Lucy Turner ridden LASKALIN getting the nod.
Bouncing right back to form with victory at Bangor last time out, the 10-year-old is still weighted to run a big race, despite going up 7lb.
He was a fair second in this last year off 120 and his current mark is still 2lb lower.
This is an Extra Place Race, meaning that Betfred will pay 3 Places (1/5 Odds) instead of 2.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £490 for your total £7.50 stake.
