Lucky 15 Tips: Middleham Park Racing juvenile can strike at Newcastle

We were on the scoreboard again at Newcastle yesterday, and for our Lucky 15 tips on Friday, November 8 we're heading unashamedly back to Gosforth Park for an eight-race meeting that kicks in at 15:28.

15:28 - Molinari @ 7/2

An experienced seven-year-old Mastercraftsman gelding.

Molinari won emphatically over a couple of furlongs further 11 days ago at this venue, and looks to defy a 4lb hike for trainer Martin Todhunter and jockey David Nolan, who was on board last time.

That previous spin was a big jump in recent form and fortunes, so he's evidently in great heart and can go in again.

16:03 - Lima Sierra @ 5/2

A Middleham Park Racing two-year-old Kodi Bear filly, in the care of Nigel Tinkler. Claimer Alex Jary (5lb) is in the plate.

Four runs so far for Lima Sierra, showing consistency albeit at a modest level. She finished close up last time here over 5f a week ago, running on, and gets an extra furlong today which looks sure to suit.

They all look fairly exposed already and a repeat of last time, with the bonus of that extra yardage, can work the oracle on Friday.

16:40 - Safanah @ 4/5

Only four line up for this maiden, but there's likely to be little between three of them in the market.

Safanah is favourite as I write, and deserves to be in my book. Three runs so far for the three-year-old Zoustar filly, and she hails from the all-powerful Richard Fahey yard in Musley Bank North Yorkshire, about 90 miles away.

She's been steadily progressing so far and last time was a close second at Wolves over a furlong further. She drops to five this afternoon which one hopes won't be an issue.

18:45 - Bellagio Man @ 11/2

Antony Brittain trains, Cam Hardie rides.

Bellagio Man is a six-year-old gelded son of the mighty Dandy Man, and ran here just three days ago in a slightly higher grade. He runs off the same mark (63) but has won at the track and has slipped to this kind of mark which I'm sure he can be very dangerous off.

The yard strikes me as a very shrewd one and I'm taken by the fact that he reappears so soon.
