Lucky 15 Tips: Appier times lie ahead?

We were among the winners again yesterday (Weds) after a couple on Tuesday, so let's see if we can maintain this current decent form. Our Lucky 15 tips for Thursday, October 3 come all the way from Newcastle, and a stupendous NINE-race, all-weather card on the Tapeta.
The action starts at 16:00 and red-hot Danny Tudhope, operating at a 24% strike-rate over the past fortnight, looks to have a fantastic book of rides.
Lucky 15 Tips, Thursday
Newcastle
16:00 - Moonlit Stage @ 10/3
Winning-machine D Tudhope rides this two-year-old Showcasing gelding for trainer Ed Dunlop.
Four runs so far, the best of which encouragingly was last time 12 days ago at Wolves, beaten narrowly on handicap debut off a mark of 56.
He's been popped up a pound for that, but given that he finished well at Dunstall Park, and has an extra half-furlong to get organised here, his talented pilot can bring Moonlit Stage home on what could be a sensational night for Danny.
17:05 - Appier @ 4/1
Another Danny, Muscutt this time, is my suggestion for this Class 4 middle-distance handicap.
Appier is a five-year-old course-and-distance scorer raiding from Sean Woods' Newmarket base. The Holy Roman Emperor gelding won off 80 in the summer and after flirting with a little higher races off a mark of 82 today.
He's won off 81 too - and if adding his admirable consistency and the likelihood that he'll run his race, and to his rating, he's got plenty going for him this afternoon.
Sean resists booking a claimer and instead relies for the first time on Muscutt, who had a winner here just on Tuesday.
17:40 - Byblos @ 5/4
My colleague Owen is sweet on the chances of Tornado Alert for this one, but I'm having trouble seeing past the Frankel colt out of an Oasis Dream mare - Byblos.
One run so far, 29 days ago, at Kempton. Finished well after getting the hang of things late over 7f, and steps up to a mile this afternoon which looks sure to suit.
For many years the Gosdens have hoovered-up late season novices and maidens, but as Owen points out the yard are a bit quiet right now. This might be the one to steady the ship, but in any event what a lovely race to brighten up the early evening.
The Frankel factor is hard to ignore!
19:40 - Let's Go Hugo @ 4/1
Trainer Ollie Pears has booked a 7lb claimer for this four-year-old course-and-distance scorer who indicated last time that his turn was surely close at hand.
That was 16 days ago at Redcar, failing by just 1.75l in a similar event off 63. His mark remains unchanged, so the full force of that claim can be employed to maximum effect.
Ollie's yard are quiet at the minute but Let's Go Hugo might just kick-start things nicely.
If you're playing take care, have fun as always, and good luck.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £300 for your total £7.50 stake.
