Lucky 15 Tips: Rebecca’s charge looks to shine in the closing bumper

Nice 5/1 (returned 6s) scorer yesterday at Musselburgh to maintain our decent run, but a non-runner and two reverses didn't improve our position. Very nearly recouped our suggested stake, so there was still plenty to cheer.
Friday, November 29 sees the track racing again with a seven-heat card that kicks in at 12:08, so that's where we'll go for our Lucky 15 Tips.
Lucky 15 Tips - Friday, November 29
Musselburgh
12:08 - Achnamara @ 5/2
Trainer Phil Kirby is in terrific form (22% strike rate in the last fortnight), and looks to add to that with this five-year-old Kodiac gelding bred to be pretty smart on the flat. Achnamara was a winner in that sphere, albeit at a modest level, and has taken well to hurdles the last twice.
Fifteen days ago he was beaten a neck in a similar affair at Sedgefield, showing improved form, and for me is the one they've all got to beat. He won here in a staying handicap on the level and appeals to me as by far the most likely victor.
13:10 - Maura Jean @ 6/1
Another staying hurdler with a good run last time under her belt, 24 days ago, at Sedgefield once again.
Maura Jean is a seven-year-old daughter of Sulamani; an easy winner at Kelso in October, and then very nearly following up less than a fortnight later.
Ayrshire trainer Ian Duncan has had the mare for two years, and 7lb claimer Ellis Collier has struck up a fine understanding with her. In form, she can go in again.
13:45 - Hapy La Vie @ 11/8
This looks to be a battle predominantly between two last time out winners - and I'm siding with Hapy La Vie.
Last month, reappearing after a mammoth 418-day break, the seven-year-old gelding beat a field of 10 in a similar heat at Ayr. An 8lb higher mark must be overcome today, but that's entirely feasible in my view.
He gets nearly a stone from Return Fire and that can be crucial.
15:30 - Swingingonthesteel @ 2/1
A National Hunt flat race (bumper), and unless the McCain newcomer is smart this could rest between Loch Brandy and Swingingonthesteel.
The selection is a point winner, now in the care of Rebecca Menzies. A fine second of 10 at Sedgefield once again 40 days ago should have put him straight for this, and Nathan Moscrop, on board last time, again takes the mount.
Ms Menzies is in grand order (23% strike rate in the last 14 days), and this can be another for her Durham yard. Nice little contest to close proceedings.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £240 for your total £7.50 stake.
