Lucky 15 Tips: 11/8 Asfoora to sparkle at York

Lots of racing action across Britain and Ireland on Friday with a whopping seven meetings. Flat racing is from York, Newmarket, Ffos Las, Goodwood and Killarney while they go over jumps at Kilbeggan.
The big race is the Nunthorpe at York and I've put together some Lucky 15 tips for your consideration including a selection in that Group 1 event.
Lucky 15 Tips - Friday, August 23
14:45 Newmarket – All Agleam @ 3/1
Andrew Balding's ALL AGLEAM looks the one to beat in this 7f Fillies' Handicap at Newmarket after a win last time at Lingfield.
The daughter of Oasis Dream also scored on the Polytrack at the Surrey course in January and was consistent at 6f/7f in three runs afterwards following a break.
She turned to front-running tactics last time under David Probert and was a dominant winner and a 6lb penalty may not prevent the follow up here
15:35 York – Asfoora @ 11/8
Aussie mare ASFOORA was much the best at Royal Ascot in June when she won the King Charles II Stakes, eyeballing Big Evs before going by and winning comfortably. That rival squared things up at Glorious Goodwood last time but he had everything in his favour on that speed-laden track and only just held off the mare at the line.
She is a handsome 6lb better off for this latest instalment and the track at York should lend itself to her strong-finishing ways, as lots can change inside the final furlong over 5f on the Knavesmire.
17:35 Hamilton – Boston Run @ 4/5
A maiden contest on the evening card at Hamilton in which BOSTON RUN is taken to score on second start for the Hugo Palmer team.
The Churchill colt should have derived plenty from his first start at Haydock last month. He was short of room on the running rail and had to wait his turn to get motoring, finishing off best to take second spot.
His price rose from €45,000 as a foal to €70,000 as a yearling and with an entry in next month's major Sales race at the Curragh during Irish Champions Weekend, connections will be anticipating progress now.
19:05 Hamilton – Theory Of Tides @ 13/2
The Lanark Silver Bell Handicap is one of Hamilton's proud traditions and a field of 15 are set to contest the Class 2 heritage handicap over a mile-and-a-half.
La Yakel and Irish raider Toll Stone for Emmet Mullins are a pair to keep an eye on but so, too, should be THEORY OF TIDES on third start for John & Thady Gosden.
The Galileo colt won his first two, a Nottingham novice over 1m2f and a Yarmouth contest over 1m3½f in May, before coming up short at Royal Ascot in June, in the Group 2 King Edward VII.
That was a major ask on reflection and he now makes his first start in a handicap off a mark of 95.
He's the only three-year-old in this field and has just 8st 12lb on his back in first-time cheekpieces and Robert Havlin's partner is worth an interest.
