Lucky 15 Tips: Penalised handicapper goes for eight-day treble

Friday's Lucky 15 Tips for November 22 come courtesy of Newcastle's nine-race flat card on the Tapeta, up at Gosforth Park.
Billy Loughnane has an interesting-looking book of rides, and the fun starts at 15:39. That's a race-time that once upon a time I never thought I'd be typing. Enjoy!
Lucky 15 Tips - Friday, November 22
Newcastle
17:15 - Significantly @ 9/2
Norton trainer Julie Camacho motors about 90 miles north to contest a good-looking Class 2 sprint handicap, at the minimum trip.
Significantly was last seen at Newbury in Group 3 company 62 days ago. Heavy ground there seemed to encourage a late capitulation, and the six-year-old gelding is far better judged on his effort at Newmarket in May (Palace House Stakes, Group 3), beaten just over a length.
That was on good ground, and is up there as a piece of form with anything achieved by his rivals. The horse made his debut here back in the summer of 2020, finishing a neck second, so there's some positive evidence about acting on the surface.
Cracking heat, and his chance is there for all too see.
17:45 - Hitched @ 5/4
A four-year-old Dave Simcock-trained gelding in a rich vein of form of late.
Hitched is out again just three days after winning narrowly at Lingfield; and six days before that he'd sluiced up at the same track, off a mark of 59. Today's revised 69 is career-high territory but there's no disputing that the son of Cotai Glory is in rude order, and could well have another success in him.
The trainer resists securing the services of a claiming rider, retaining one-time Arc-winner Luke Morris who'd been on top for those last two victories. Watch for a late swoop.
18:15 - Pals Battalion @ 11/2
The mighty David O'Meara trains, and David Nolan is in the plate. A Middleham Park Racing three-year-old who's won a couple for the syndicate in 14 starts.
Pals Battalion has not been beaten by far in any of his last five spins and is firmly knocking on the door right now. The Invincible Army gelding runs mainly on turf but operates effectively at another Tapeta track, Wolverhampton, winning there readily off 68 last month.
He seems sure to run to his current rating of 74, as evidenced by a fine effort at Redcar last time 17 days ago, and he's another hold-up type who can come with a late rattle to take the spoils.
19:45 - Ana Emaraaty @ 3/1
I've just realised I've not gone for a single Billy Loughnane-ridden entry, despite him having as I write seven booked rides on the card. I think that might just come back to bite me on the, er, well-upholstered regions ...
Ana Emaraaty is a four-year-old gelding in the care of the fabulous Jim Goldie in East Renfrewshire. Wonderful northern pilot Paul Mulrennan does the steering.
The pair won here 24 days ago, same trip/grade, and look to follow up off a 4lb higher mark. That last win signalled a career-best Racing Post rating and it could be that the modest handicapper is in the kind of form that enables him to defy the hike.
This is another that likes to come from the clouds so let's hope for an uninterrupted passage late on into a challenging position and even more.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.25p each-way Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £210 for your total £7.50 stake.
