Lucky 15 Tips: Count your eggs on Easter Sunday

There are six meetings on a bumper Easter Sunday of action in Britain and Ireland, which features cards from Plumpton, Bath, Southwell, Market Rasen, Fairyhouse and Cork.

My Lucky 15 Tips for Sunday, April 20 features a best bet from each of the major cards (Fairyhouse, Bath and Plumpton), as well as one from Market Rasen.

14:22 Fairyhouse - Ile Atlantique @ 9/4

Willie Mullins is in the driver's seat yet again for this Grade 1, fielding three of the six runners and his trio are the first three in the betting.

The pick at the prices is Ile Atlantique, who at one point in the recent past would have been favourite among this field. He was last seen at the Dublin Racing Festival, when he was sent off 5-2 second favourite for the Irish Arkle. He ran poorly that day, but the impression left from earlier starts was that he was a Grade 1 novice chaser.

Most notably, Ile Atlantique won a Grade 2 at Naas in good style from Firefox. That horse, who is in this field, finished third in the Irish Arkle and went off favourite at Cheltenham. Ile Atlantique has the talent to match anything in this field. He just needs to put one poor run behind him.

14:35 Market Rasen - The Dream Goes On @ 9/4

There is quite a range of experience on show in this handicap chase for amateur riders. Jack Andrews, who would be the most recognisable of them, also sits atop the form pick The Dream Goes On. That is a hard combination to play down in a race like this.

After a midwinter break, this mare has won her last two outings. She won over hurdles at Hereford, then a week later went over fences at Plumpton and won handsomely. She is likely to be kept on the go all summer now, and she has returned in such fine form during a dry spring that she can front-load the success connections had planned for her. That can continue by completing the hat-trick.

15:30 Plumpton - Major Fortune @ 7/2

Dan Skelton is firing everything he can at the valuable races left in the calendar, trying to secure a first trainers' title and resist Willie Mullins.

That is not to say that his two in this race, Major Fortune and Hidden Heroics, have been especially plotted at this contest. But the former has been saved for a spring and summer campaign and is ready to contribute to his trainer's title bid.

Major Fortune is from a jumping family and has always appealed as a chaser in the making. He made his debut in this sphere in late February and ran with promise at Leicester a couple of weeks later.

That was over 2m6f and Major Fortune was never likely to figure when dropped to 2m at Newbury next time. Up in trip, but still among more exposed types, he is worth chancing with stable jockey Harry Skelton up.

15:41 Bath - Electric Storm @ 7/2

Electric Storm made her turf debut in this race last year, finishing second to Adaay In Devon. She improved on her next two starts, culminating in a Group 3 second in France, before her form flattened out a bit, but not before she hit the bar again at Group 3 level.

In short, she is the progressive one in this field. She is effective away from soft ground (the 'good to soft' described in France when she was second in that Group 3 would be at least 'good' by British descriptions) and is among the pick of these on form as it is. Given how close she went last year, there is a good chance she is ready for this, too, with her trainer James Tate having sent out three winners from 11 runners in the last fortnight.

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
