Lingfield Park Tips: Harry Brown can claim sprint crown

Spring has sprung and the sun will be shining on leafy Lingfield for an eight-race all-weather card on Wednesday afternoon.
I've come up with a few Lingfield Park tips - including a sprinter who's dropped to a highly-attractive mark.
Lingfield Park Tips - Wednesday, March 5
15:12 - Harry Brown @ 10/3
HARRY BROWN earned a peak rating of 91 in his prime and the five-year-old was thought good enough to contest the Palace of Holyroodhouse Stakes at Royal Ascot two years ago.
Clearly, Peter Crate’s charge isn’t capable of that level of performance anymore, but the mark has dropped to only 61 for this race and the son of Harry Angel has an excellent record on artificial surfaces.
Harry Brown has won three times and been placed on a further seven occasions in his 16 all-weather starts and his record at Lingfield is excellent too.
Crate’s runner has made nine starts at the Surrey venue and those races have produced form figures of 2,1,1,3,10,3,4,4,3.
The latest of those efforts, a third-place finish, came with Harry Brown running on and over the five furlong trip.
A step up to six furlongs looks a good move and Harry Brown can land a third course and distance success.

15:42 - Rajeko @ 6/4
RAJEKO doesn’t have much in hand on official ratings in the Listed Spring Cup Stakes at 15:42, but Michael Bell’s runner does have plenty more in his favour.
The three-year-old arrives race fit after finishing second behind the 110 rated Al Qudra in the Al Rayyan Mile last month.
Prior to that good effort, Rajeko scored at Chelmsford and there are no doubts over the surface for Bell’s runner.
Second-favourite Bountiful makes her all-weather debut after a 236-day break and there could be more between George Boughey’s charge and Rajeko than the ratings suggest.

17:17 - All Cost @ 5/2
ALL COST was punted from 7/2 to 2/1 when narrowly failing to land a gamble at Kempton 21 days ago, but it was pretty clear that the three-year-old was capable of doing some damage off his mark.
Martin Dunne’s runner has been nudged up a pound to a rating of 56 for that effort, but the cheekpieces go on for the first time for this race and that could generate further improvement from All Cost.
Dunne steps his charge up two furlongs in the 17:17 one-mile-and-two-furlong handicap, but All Cost wasn’t stopping at the line at Kempton and the son of Iffraaj looks ready to strike.
