Lingfield Park Tips: Pablo to boss to the finale

With seven UK and Irish meetings taking place on Thursday there's lots of racing action to cater for all tastes. Among it is an evening Flat card from Lingfield, where there are seven races from 17:52 - 20.22 split between the turf and all-weather courses.
Our Lingfield Park tips includes Pablo Del Pueblo - a well-handicapped track specialist.
17:52 - Bella Grazia @ 11/4
The opening 1m4f handicap at Lingfield sees a rematch between Publicity and BELLA GRAZIA, with the last-named runner taken to exact her revenge.
The pair were, admittedly, put in their place by impressive winner Arch Legend when they met at Wolverhampton 15 days ago, but the first home was thriving and Bella Grazia is 1lb better off for around three lengths with runner-up Publicity, who had been on the go throughout the winter on the all-weather.
Conversely, it was Bella Grazia’s handicap debut and seasonal return after she unsurprisingly struggled in all-weather sprints last autumn. This distance is where her future lies, and her scope for significant further progress makes her the bet for Sir Mark Prescott, who excels with this type of horse.
18:22 - Abraaj @ 6/1
The following 2m handicap can see ABRAAJ do the business for Simon Pearce. It is a competitive race, but I suspect the handicapper might have gotten hold of the in-form Young Endless, while the consistent Double The Trouble is an alarming 0-27 in his career. The interesting Myriad looks like a candidate to bounce after returning here only two weeks ago following 18 months off.
Abraaj at least knows how to win, having landed a similar contest at Newcastle in March off 4lb lower in a strong time for the grade. He didn’t run badly when third in his follow-up attempt at Kempton, while a line can be drawn through his last run at Doncaster as the ground was against him.
A return to the all-weather can allow Abraaj to get his career back on track, and he might just have a change of gear the others lack. Jack Mitchell getting back in the saddle is a positive.
20:22 - Pablo Del Pueblo @ 5/1
It is easy to imagine events panning out nicely for PABLO DEL PUEBLO in the concluding 6f handicap.
This prominent racer is drawn highest in stall 11, from which he is best positioned to grab the stands’ side rail. He might not see another rival.
Pablo Del Pueblo was strong in the market on his latest run here but didn’t enjoy the best trip. The handicapper has relented and he is 2lb lower, which means he is on his lowest mark since November 2021 (bolted up here that day).
He is 9lb lower than when a wide-margin winner off a massive weight over course and distance last May and, providing he breaks on terms,he can collect back over 6f with Christian Howarth taking a handy 3lb off.
