Stumptown @ 7/1 8/1
Fresh off his Cross Country Chase triumph, which he won by seven lengths, at the Cheltenham Festival in March, Stumptown heads to Aintree in great form as he bids to land one of the biggest prizes of them all in the Grand National.
Gavin Cromwell has his gelding in excellent shape and his transition from handicap to cross country/bank chases this season has been seamless. His jumping is to be admired and there are no questions about his staying ability. Stumptown is getting a lot of backing right now to become the sole favourite in the National, having been 8/1 previously.
I Am Maximus @ 8/1 10/1
The most interesting market mover is last year's I Am Maximus shifting from 10/1 to joint-favourite at 8/1. Owned by JP McManus, punters are fancying the nine-year-old's chances of defending his crown, which would give McManus a record fourth Grand National winner.
I Am Maximus won the National by seven-and-a-half lengths last year and it now appears as though many punters are backing him to become the sixth horse to win the race in consecutive years, after Abd-El-Kader (1850), The Colonel (1870), Reynoldstown (1936), Red Rum (1974) and Tiger Roll (2019).
Willie Mullins, who is the best in the business, trains the nine-year-old, and after another stellar Cheltenham Festival, punters are leaning towards the Closutton maestro to saddle I Am Maximus to Grand National glory again.
Iroko 9/1 8/1
Initially the joint-favourite, JP McManus' other runner, Iroko, has fallen behind I Am Maximus in the listings, but it's still early days and there are sure to be plenty of twists and turns before 4pm on Saturday.
The seven-year-old ran a huge race at Aintree last year, beaten by Cheltenham Festival Gold Cup winner Inothewayurthinkin, and connections believe his chances are strong for him to win the National, which has been his sole focus this season.
Iroko's maintained his handicap mark which could play into his hands, while he is going to be ridden by Jonjo O'Neill Jr, whose stock has risen in recent weeks thanks to his victory aboard 100/1 shot Poniros at the Cheltenham Festival.

Hyland @ 18/1 16/1
Unlike Intense Raffles, Hyland is a runner who is not highly thought of when it comes to his jumping. This is deemed by many to be his stumbling block in the pursuit of Grand National glory. The eight-year-old is from Nicky Henderson's stable at Seven Barrows, who is yet to train a winner in this race.
Hyland is among the favourites in the list but he has drifted from 16/1 to 18/1. He had a large campaigns over hurdles before making the switch over to chasing this season. The gelding has won three of his six starts over larger fences and there is no doubt about his ability as a stayer.
If questions around his jumping are answered, he could prove to be a smart selection on Saturday.
