With only three meetings taking place across Britain on Wednesday, we don't have much in terms of quantity to look forward to.

Amongst the action is a nine-race card at Kempton, where they race from 16:20 to 20:30 and the official going description is standard to slow. We've picked out a trio to follow for our Kempton Park tips and they include an Ed Walker-trained runner in the feature race on the card.

19:00 - Popmaster @ 8/1

POPMASTER returns to handicap company after running in a Listed race last time and he was far from disgraced, finishing third behind an impressive winner. The handicapper has since decided to drop him 2lb, which could be a massive help now back in handicaps.

One standout piece of form is his short head second to Roi De France, who is in opposition once again, here over a mile in November. John & Thady Gosden's runner received 5lb from Popmaster that day and will instead be giving him 4lb this time.

Winless for the best part of two years, that will surely change sooner or later and the return to 7f may well suit. Ed Walker's grey was last successful in a Listed race over this trip at Newbury in 2023 and he looks set to run a massive race here.

Hollie Doyle recently hit the major milestone of 1000 winners in Britain and no doubt she'll be keen to get to 2000 as soon as possible. One horse that could help her on her way is SWEET FANTASTIC, who got off the mark here in January with Doyle on board.

Hugo Palmer's colt wasn't beaten far when finishing third on handicap debut at Lingfield in December and it was definitely a sign of things to come. He then went one better here over 7f, doing all his best work at the finish and a mile should be no problem on that evidence.

The son of Lope De Vega was third in a warm race at Wolverhampton last month and that effort also suggested that the extra furlong can help. We haven't seen the best of this thoroughly unexposed sort as of yet and he should be winning plenty of races.
