18:00 - Profitman @ 5/2

Ben Brookhouse goes again with PROFITMAN after he was denied a hat-trick at Wolverhampton on Saturday.

The three-year-old gelding showed improved form at Wolverhampton and Chelmsford on his first two starts this year before then easily winning at the same venues over 7f in the space of seven days at the end of March and the start of this month.

He looked to have plenty in hand latterly and an 8lb rise was not expected to stop his hat-trick hopes on Saturday at Wolverhampton.

Jack Gilligan rode with extreme confidence, moving off the rail and going three-wide to take up the running before the home bend as he established clear daylight on his rivals.

Ultimately those tactics didn't pay off, as Profitman was swallowed up late on and could only finish third as two rivals carrying lightweights swept by.

He's off the same mark now and has Luke Catton taking over in the saddle claiming a handy 5lb. Even without the claim, there's a suspicion this horse will still prove himself ahead of the handicapper under a more conservative mid-race ride.

19:00 - White Mist @ 8/1

This 7f Fillies' Handicap is a wide open contest and cases can be made for plenty of the field, including February's Chelmsford handicap debut scorer Sighter for Richard Hannon and George Boughey's Sunblock, an impressive Newcastle winner three starts ago and now tried in cheekpieces.

They are overlooked in favour of the very consistent WHITE MIST. The Dark Angel filly has figures of 121122 since late-December, including a win and second in two starts here over 6f.

A fortnight ago she was caught further back than ideal at this track after a messy start before finishing off the race powerfully for a half-length defeat.

She races off the same mark now and, in her current form, a return to 7f looks very much worth exploring.

20:30 - Bitcoin Profit @ 7/2

A veteran of only 10 career starts, BITCOIN PROFIT is already with his third different handler. In his time with Diego Dias in Ireland and Henry Spiller in the UK, he was largely kept to sprinting trips and showed some level of ability despite clinging to the maiden tag.

New trainer Max Young saw him go close over 7f at Wolverhampton on stable bow last month and wasted no time going up in distance. He was rewarded with success over 1m1½f at Dunstall Park 15 days ago, with Bitcoin Profit really seeing the trip out stoutly in the home straight.

A mile around here should prove enough of a test for him now, from 2lb higher but with Grace McEntee claiming 3lb in the saddle, and he can quickly add to his tally.
