Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of a professional jockey looks like?

Betfred ambassador Jonjo O’Neill Jr. knows a thing or two about that and was kind enough to show us around the stunning Jackdaws Castle in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire earlier this month.

The 25-year-old, who won his first race at the Cheltenham Festival when he was just 21, walked and talked us through exactly what goes into running a top National Hunt yard – from race planning in the morning to how he spends his evening downtime.

The former Champion Conditional Jockey also provided some fascinating insight into the diet of a race rider, plus much more.
