Two of the three meetings across the UK on Wednesday are over jumps. They go at Bangor and Wincanton, before an evening all-weather card from Kempton.

We have three Wednesday fancies to follow from Bangor, including an improving staying handicap hurdler representing Dan Skelton, who has been amongst the winners in recent days.

14:20 Bangor - Thatza Dazzler @ 6/5

Thatza Dazzler is the suggestion in the Class 5 extended 2m1f novices' handicap chase from Bangor.

The selection was sent off a big price for his second start over fences at Ludlow recently but the six-year-old showed just what he is capable of with a convincing victory.

He jumped out to his left at times but settled into such a nice jumping rhythm from off the strong pace that he was able to pull over six-lengths clear of his opposition by the line on the particularly testing ground.

The son of the French sire Blue Bresil has had a week to get over those exertions, is open to more improvement returning to a left-handed track and is capable of defying his 7lb penalty.

14:50 Bangor - Breeze Of Wind @ 15/8

Breeze Of Wind can complete a four-timer in the Class 5 3m handicap chase from Bangor.

The seven-year-old began his winning sequence off a mark of 84 over an intermediate trip on heavy ground at Hexham in December in a race that is working out particularly well.

He comfortably followed up over 3m on heavy ground at Uttoxeter shortly after and returned from a small break to complete the hat-trick off 96 over an extended 3m at Carlisle recently on soft ground.

The son of the American sire Arctic Cosmos is another 6lb higher in a marginally better race off a mark of 102, but he should relish the switch to this left-handed course with the ground conditions in his favour.

16:50 Bangor - Catch Him Derry @ 9/4

Catch Him Derry is representing Dan Skelton in the concluding Class 4 2m7f handicap hurdle at Bangor.

Skelton has saddled six winners in the 14 days prior to racing on Tuesday and Catch Him Derry has strong claims of adding to his recent winning haul.

The selection is by the sire Milan and his dam is by Presenting, so there was always a high likelihood that those genes would lead him down the staying route.

Encouragingly enough the pick of the selection's two novice hurdle runs came when third of ten over an extended 2m, on heavy ground on this course in December.

He then stepped in trip significantly to make a winning handicap hurdle debut off 96 at Southwell in January over 3m on good to soft, and this unexposed improver makes plenty of appeal on this follow-up attempt from a 6lb higher mark, back on even more testing ground on this course.
