Horse Racing Tips: Bowen to extend Jockeys’ Championship lead

There's a mix of Jumps and Flat racing in the UK on Wednesday, with three meetings taking place across the afternoon and into the evening.
Among my horse racing tips for the afternoon is a mount for the in-form jockey Sean Bowen, who can extend his lead at the head of the Jumps Jockeys' Championship.
Horse Racing Tips - Wednesday, February 19
14:30 Ludlow - Pike Road @ 2/1
PIKE ROAD switches back to a maiden hurdle having run with credit on handicap bow last time and this looks a good opportunity to gain a first win.
The son of Yeats proved his stamina by running over 3m on his last three starts, something that can't be said for the rest of the field.
Sean Bowen is back in the saddle, and having finished twice on the gelding before, can go one better this time.
The return to a sounder surface than what he encountered at Catterick last time will also be a positive.
On official ratings, he would have a bit to find with Bold Recruit, but the form of Pike Road is much stronger and he will take all the beating here.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
17:13 Ludlow - Whatsupwithyou @ 5/1
In a race with a few unexposed horses, a chance can be taken on 11-year-old WHATSUPWITHYOU for the Ben Pauling Stable.
He has some good early season form and in higher class races, and if returning to these levels, can go well.
Elliot England hasn't got a huge amount of experience but claims a useful 10lb in a race that likely won't take a huge amount of winning.
His official rating has come down from 126 to 120 since the start of the season and he should be capable of winning this.
The Pauling stable is in good form, operating at a 23% strike rate over the past fortnight, including five winners - Whatsupwithyou can further boost their numbers.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
