It’s a busier than usual Tuesday with no fewer than seven meetings across Britain and Ireland.

For Tuesday's racing tips, I've picked out a trio of selections for the all-weather action at Lingfield in the evening.

Tuesday's Racing Tips

  • 18:10 Lingfield - Big Bard @ 5/1
  • 19:40 Lingfield - Loveable Rogue @ 5/4
  • 20:10 Lingfield - Crimson Road @ 11/4

18:10 Lingfield - Big Bard @ 5/1

Lingfield’s opener on Tuesday has an open look to it with 13 runners declared and a case can be made for a few but there are a few reasons to think BIG BARD can go well.

The son of Poet’s Voice shaped with lots of promise on his return from an absence at Salisbury last time. He was a bit too fresh in the early stages but still managed to stay on gamely to finish third, giving the impression that his future could now be at seven furlongs.

He should come on for that run here and he is one of the more prominent racers in this field, often an advantage over this particular course and distance, particularly with no other front runners confirmed in the line-up.

Big Bard’s best form has come on turf but his 7lb lower all-weather mark reflects that and he does have an all-weather win to his name. The 5lb that the talented apprentice Sean Bowen can claim is an obvious help too.

While his wins have all come over six furlongs, he’s gone close over this trip and it’s not the most demanding seven furlongs at Lingfield, so he may be able to outrun his price.

19:40 Lingfield - Loveable Rogue @ 5/4

It could be a big day for Sean Bowen as he also has a big chance with LOVEABLE ROGUE later on the card.

The Sea The Stars filly left her debut behind when starting out for James Owen last time out, just losing out when caught on the line at Wolverhampton last month and the horse she lost out to was a well-backed filly for an in-form yard.

The trainer has his string in excellent form with five winners since May 16th and this filly should come on for that run. If she does find any improvement, she could be hard to beat in a winnable maiden.

20:10 Lingfield - Crimson Road @ 11/4

The feature race at Lingfield features some promising three-year-olds, arguably none more so than CRIMSON ROAD for Simon and Ed Crisford.

He ran with plenty of promise in each of his three two-year-old starts and shaped like he would come on for his reappearance when just fading late on at Chelmsford.

However, that was still a career best, stepping up to this trip for the first time, and he’s already shown he handles this sort of ground. With more to come, this sort of mark certainly looks workable and he should be firmly in the mix.
