There are two National Hunt and two all-weather meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland on Tuesday, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Taunton kicks us off and is swiftly followed by Newcastle, with Southwell and Dundalk taking us through to the evening.

We have three strong fancies on the day, including a progressive Nicky Richards runner who will be attempting to complete his hat-trick.

15:20 Taunton - Tuscan Rose @ 9/2

Look out for TUSCAN ROSE at Taunton as the Neil Mulholland-trained mare looks set to shed her maiden tag sooner rather than later.

There are no world-beaters in this Class 5 handicap hurdle for mares, and Tuscan Rose is beginning to show some positive signs.

She showed little in maiden and novice company but is slowly finding her feet in handicap company. The daughter of Milan kept on well to finish third over an extended 2m4f at Southwell last time out, despite getting a little outpaced before the final flight.

Based on that evidence, the step up to three miles will be a big positive for her, and it surely won't be long before she gets off the mark. A 1lb rise from the handicapper shouldn't cause her much difficulty, and she's worth giving a go in this very open 10-runner affair.

18:45 Southwell - Dawn Of Liberation @ 5/2

Southwell's feature race takes place at 18:45 on Tuesday, and it's fair to say that there isn't a lot between the runners. It should be a very competitive affair, and Ruth Carr's DAWN OF LIBERATION could be the one to come out on top.

The son of Churchill was a good third on his debut for this yard at Newcastle last time out. He faded in the final furlong, which is to be expected on his first start for 159 days, but he should be a little sharper this time around.

Connections are dropping him back down to 7f here and he won a novice race at Doncaster over this trip back in March 2022.

The handicapper has generously dropped him 1lb since his latest run, and he should be very competitive here. A long overdue return to the winners' enclosure can't be ruled out.
