Horse Racing Tips: Holmes can solve Wolverhampton opener

There are three cards in Britain on Tuesday and fans of both codes have something to look forward to.
My horse racing tips for the day concentrates on the evening all-weather card at Wolverhampton.
Horse Racing Tips - Tuesday, February 18
16:20 Wolverhampton - Enola Holmes @ 11/8
ENOLA HOLMES was a taking winner at Wolverhampton this month and looks capable of adding a second career success in the 6f fillies’ novice that opens the card at the Midlands track.
The daughter of Invincible Spirit travelled powerfully into contention and readily asserted in the closing stages. Given the runner-up has since scored by three lengths, the form is looking hot, and the selection is open to untold improvement after only two starts.
Considering she was relatively weak in the market on her first start since May and first for up-and-coming trainer Jack Jones, Enola Holmes may even strip fitter with that behind her. She looks a bright prospect and it will be interesting to see how far she can go.

17:30 Wolverhampton - Kaleidoscope Eyes @ 11/4
Mick Appleby is always a man to fear with horses he acquires from other stables and KALEIDOSCOPE EYES, who has only been with the team since October, appears to be on an upward curve. She can secure a second victory in her past three outings in the 6f handicap at Wolverhampton.
The key to this daughter of No Nay Never’s chance is the drop back in trip. While she made all over 7f two starts back, she was unable to finish strongly enough over that distance to secure the quickfire double on her previous run.
The selection had everyone in trouble at the furlong marker but back pedalled into fourth.
The return to sprinting looks a worthwhile pursuit and she could control this up front from stall four.

18:30 Wolverhampton - Mamdoh @ 5/4
Nathaniel is an excellent sire of stayers and MAMDOH hasn’t looked back since exploring longer distances. A second career strike awaits in division two of the 1m6f handicap at Wolverhampton.
This four-year-old took his form up a notch when first-time cheekpieces were applied two starts ago here and, although coming unstuck in his bid to strike again at Southwell four days ago, he was among three horses to pull seven lengths clear of the fourth.
He may have just bumped into one when second there and this looks a weaker race anyway. The fact trainer Joseph Parr has secured the services of 7lb claimer Warren Fentiman looks another positive.
Fentiman is a popular young apprentice rider among a diverse range of trainers and looks full value for his allowance. His mount is open to further progress as a stayer, and is well capable of landing this weak affair.
