Horse Racing Tips: Theatre can put on a show on Tuesday

There's four meetings scheduled across Britain and Ireland on Tuesday. Punchestown gets us underway, followed closely by Uttoxeter and Fontwell, while the evening's all-weather entertainment is provided by Southwell.
I've got three horse racing tips for consideration, including one for trainer Richard Bandey that should be winning races over fences this season.
Horse Racing Tips - Tuesday, December 10
13:20 Punchestown - Pastorale @ 10/1
Henry de Bromhead takes on the Willie Mullins battalions with two runners here and PASTORALE is arguably the most interesting of the two.
It was a good effort when third behind a smart stablemate in a Listed race over two miles at Thurles in December and she clearly has the ability to compete at this level.
She was last seen finishing second to Brighterdaysahead in a Listed mares’ novice back in February and that rival has since beaten the reigning champion hurdler State Man in the Grade 1 Morgiana Hurdle.
A winner over fences in her native France, she’s yet to get off the mark over hurdles for current connections but that should change sooner rather than later.
This mare brings the best form to the table and victory could well be on the agenda.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
13:42 Uttoxeter - Theatre Man @ 11/2
This looks like a fiercely competitive five-runner affair and it would be dangerous to ignore Richard Bandey’s runner THEATRE MAN here. He’s a second season chaser, who brings some really strong form into the race and could be the one to side with.
The son of Ocovango was extremely well backed for the TrustATrader Plate at the Cheltenham Festival in March, but unfortunately didn’t make it further than the third fence.
He bumped into the extremely progressive Ginny’s Destiny when second in novice company on Trials Day before that and his conqueror went on to finish a valiant second to Grey Dawning in the Grade 1 Turners Novices’ Chase at the Festival.
That form alone is enough to make him very interesting here, as none of his rivals have reached that level as of yet.
A rating of 136 shouldn’t be beyond him and he should be more than competitive in this grade.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
14:12 Uttoxeter - Sound And Fury @ 6/1
Watch out for Ben Pauling’s novice chasers, as he seems to have a particularly strong crop this season. He runs SOUND AND FURY here and this seven-year-old is open to plenty of improvement on just his second start over fences here.
It was a fair effort when finishing third at Carlisle on his first start of the season and, while he kept on nicely enough, the gelding appeared to lack some sharpness on the day and should take a step forward for that run.
That was his first start for 359 days and he was entitled to need it a fair bit.
Pauling’s runner managed to win a handicap hurdle here in November off a 4lb lower mark and had previously scored in a Fontwell maiden. Very lightly raced still, especially in handicap company, there could be lots more to come from him.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
