Horse Racing Tips: Easterby veteran could be too Strong

It's a busier than usual Thursday of action for this time of year, with no fewer than seven meetings taking place in Britain and Ireland. Five afternoon cards are kicked off by Bath at 13:25 and the two all-weather affairs in the evening come from Chelmsford and Southwell.
We've picked out three selections for our horse racing tips for Thursday, including a well-handicapped sort at Ayr and an unlucky loser in Ireland last time out.
Horse Racing Tips - Thursday, October 10
15:05 Thurles - Warazam @ 11/2
There was plenty to like about the handicap debut of Warazam at Cork last week and this three-year-old filly has plenty in her favour in her bid to go one better.
Despite showing very little in maidens previously, the daughter of Elzaam was only beaten a length at Cork last week and she's entitled to come on for that first run in four months. It's also a run worth upgrading having met some interference early in the contest.
The handicapper has put her up 6lb for that run but she's far less exposed than her rivals having just her fifth start and she ought to go well if she handles the quick turnaround.
This is an Extra Place Race, so Betfred will be paying 4 Places (1/5 Odds) instead of 3.

16:33 Ayr - Strongbowe @ 16/1
A drop in class could be a big benefit for Strongbowe at Ayr on Thursday afternoon in the penultimate race on the card.
The out-and-out miler isn't the easiest horse to predict these days but given that he was going to contest a Class 2 Series final at Nottingham before it was abandoned last week, he has to be of interest dropping down to Class 6 company.
This is his first ever run down at this sort of level and he's had a few excuses in his recent starts.
His Leger Legends 12th last time out is well worth ignoring given that he was ridden by a rider that retired many years ago and this son of Siyouni isn't the most straightforward ride, so he probably wasn't the ideal candidate for that sort of race.
Earlier in the campaign, he had shaped quite nicely over an insufficient seven furlongs at Carlisle on the back of an enterprising ride when hitting the crossbar at Thirsk and the Thirsk form worked out nicely, producing winners subsequently.
He's been generously dropped 4lb for his Leger Legends effort at Doncaster last time and this race could be run to suit with plenty of pace on his inside from the likes of Gainsbourg, Shine On Brendan and Izzari.
Place a win or each way single on the 16:33 Ayr on October 10. If your horse finishes 2nd, we will refund your stake in Free Bets up to £10.

16:50 Thurles - Jetara @ 15/8
Another interesting runner on the Thurles card is Jetara, whose dam is a full sister to the Champion Hurdle winner, Jezki.
Jessica Harrington's well-bred filly has made a really promising start to her jumps career, chasing home Ballyburn when last seen at the Punchestown Festival and she's seemingly still progressing in that sphere.
If she can transfer all that ability to the Flat, she could be hard to beat with stamina assured, unlike many of her rivals in this contest.
