Horse Racing Tips: Shoot for the Stars on the Knavesmire

The Sunday Series goes to York for the first time, and there's a seven-race card kicking off at 14:30. The Listed Garrowby Stakes at 16:30 is the feature race of the day, and the £70k pot has attracted the biggest field for the race in more than a decade.
I've picked out a trio of selections to follow from the Knavesmire in Sunday's Horse Racing Tips, including an eyecatcher that could prove the price of the day.

15:00 York - King Of Stars @ 9/1
The sprint handicap looks like one of the stronger betting races of the day, and with Betfred offering an extra place on the race (now pays four places), it could be worth looking for some each-way value.
One that makes sizeable appeal at the prices is King Of Stars, who has given the impression that he retains plenty of his old ability in two starts this season.
The son of Starspangledbanner ran a huge race on his return to action at Ascot when outrunning his odds of 50/1, running well for a long way before shaping like he lacked fitness in the final half of a furlong.
He still managed to hang around for third that day and subsequently produced another big performance in defeat at Newbury, setting unsustainable fractions on the front.
However, it often pays to be on the front end over this course and distance, and King Of Stars has become notably well treated on his old form, given that he was rated in the low 100s in his pomp.
At 9/1, he looks overpriced.

15:30 York - Artisan Dancer @ 3/1
The staying race on the card doesn't look like the deepest race for the grade and appears to be a good opportunity for Artisan Dancer to get his head back in front.
Charlie Johnston's five-year-old was a winner at Ripon earlier in the season and has generally held his form well since, particularly in his last couple of starts, finishing runner-up over course and distance before another narrow defeat at Southwell.
He's still feasibly treated from 2lb higher and now gets the services of Jason Hart, a jockey who rides this track as well as anyone.

16:30 York - Lethal Levi @ 13/2
The feature race of the day looks competitive, but it might be worth siding with Lethal Levi, who scored at Newmarket last time.
That was a game performance from the front, seeing off his rivals one by one, and while he's yet to win in seven appearances at this venue, he's gone close and outrun his odds on a couple of occasions.
If he's on his A-game, the six-year-old could be hard to catch. It's a slight surprise he's not vying for favouritism, despite having to carry a penalty.
