Horse Racing Tips: Irish raider Yokkell the bet of the day at Kelso

Jump racing holds sway across Britain and Ireland on Sunday with four meetings taking place across the afternoon. First off is Uttoxeter before they go to Tipperary, Kelso and Killarney.
Amongst my Horse Racing tips for Sunday is one for trainer John McConnell who has found a golden opportunity for his mare on what will be just her third start over hurdles.
Horse Racing Tips - Sunday, October 6
14:15 Killarney - Say It So @ 7/1
What a brilliant day it was for Calum Hogan at the Listowel festival last month as he rode his first winner over jumps when steering Ifitwasme to victory in a 2m handicap hurdle, but back in third was stablemate SAY IT SO and he takes the ride on Eric McNamara's gelding here.
McNamara is in sublime form at present over jumps and on the Flat, and this horse's latest effort when third in that Listowel contest can be marked up as he was caught wide the whole way around.
Say It So was beaten about 16 lengths but he stayed on well for pressure once they turned into the straight. If Hogan can keep him tucked in on the rail this time he looks well treated as he will effectively be running off 1lb lower than when successful at Cork in August factoring in Hogan's claim. Big chance up in trip.

14:40 Kelso - Yokkell @ 4/7
Irish handler John McConnell can raid another British track successfully as YOKKELL bids to win for the second time over hurdles in the hands of Harry Cobden, who is a very eye-catching jockey booking.
The mare won five times on the Flat and she blew the field apart when winning by 19 lengths on her hurdling debut over 2m1f at Down Royal in August on decent ground.
Sent off the 10/11 favourite for a 2m novice hurdle at Warwick last month, she just found Dodger Long too strong in the finish on the day, but this looks like a very weak contest, at least on paper, and compensation awaits backers.
Cobden has only had five rides at this track in the last five years and one of them was successful, but arguably Britain's best jump jockey is a notable booking.

14:50 Killarney - Chutzpal @ 5/2
Another good horse on the Flat, CHUTZPAL arrives bidding for a four-timer for trainer Henry de Bromhead and the son of Markaz should be well up to the job with a capable apprentice booked for the ride.
He has had four starts for his new yard since leaving Eoin Doyle and has been sent off favourite for every one of them. He impressed when winning here over 1m6f on the Flat in July before bolting up twice in handicap hurdles at Bellewstown and Wexford.
There are a couple of horses in here who will give Chutzpal plenty to think about, including Al Gasparo who has some strong form in the book, but the selection might prove too strong at the weights.
