Horse Racing Tips: Eyecatcher Emeralds Pride to get back on track

Flat racing holds sway across Britain and Ireland on Sunday, with four meetings taking place in the afternoon. First off is Naas before they go to a pair of ITV meetings at Goodwood and Beverley - while there's also a good card to look forward to at Yarmouth.
Among my horse racing tips for Sunday is one for trainer Michael Dods who was a big eyecatcher when sixth over course and distance from a poor draw last time. She's taken to get her head back in front.
Horse Racing Tips - Sunday, August 25
14:05 Beverley - Emeralds Pride @ 9/1
The 5f handicap will be live on ITV, and it's a very competitive sprint but the horse that sticks out is Michael Dods' EMERALDS PRIDE, who will have everything in her favour on this occasion.
Now a five-year-old, the mare is a dual course and distance winner, scoring here last August off a mark of 62 and went on to land the hat-trick here in May from a mark of 68.
She was a massive eyecatcher here last time when finishing a never-nearer sixth, and she had plenty of excuses as she was drawn out in stall nine. It's very difficult to win from there over the minimum at this venue.
Given a dream draw on this occasion in stall four, Emeralds Pride has outstanding claims, and she has been dropped 1lb in the weights by the handicapper, which will be a help.
14:15 Yarmouth - Cryptos Dream @ 13/2
Moving on swiftly to Yarmouth for a 1m2f apprentice handicap and the value play could be Tony Carroll's CRYPTOS DREAM with the very capable Molly Gunn booked for the ride.
Gunn is operating at 10 per cent this year, and she rode a winner at Ffos Las on Friday, so confidence in the saddle will be high. This mare showed plenty of determination when scoring at Nottingham over 1m4f in June, and she had excuses last time, having pulled too hard at Brighton.
Back on a fairer track, Cryptos Dream is taken to bounce back, and the ground will be in her favour.
15:50 Beverley - Baileys Jubilation @ 7/1
The final selection of the afternoon runs in another 5f handicap at Beverley, and it's the Charlie Johnston runner BAILEYS JUBILATION who will use 'catch me if you can' tactics under Joe Fanning.
By Oasis Dream, the filly made all when winning at Lingfield in June and showed plenty of guts to hang on that day as it looked like she was going to be swamped in the final furlong.
She missed the break completely at Goodwood when last seen and was never a factor, but that was a tough race, and it's a run that can be easily excused. With the perfect draw in stall two here, she can get out fast, and she might be difficult to reel in.
