Horse Racing Tips: Richard Hannon to enhance Ascot record

Flat racing holds sway across Britain and Ireland on Saturday with seven meetings taking place across the afternoon and into the evening. First off is Ascot before they go to Gowran Park, Newcastle, York, Chester, Lingfield Park and Salisbury.
Amongst our horse racing tips for Saturday is one for trainer Richard Hannon who has a brilliant record in the opening maiden on the card and the booking of Ryan Moore can only promote further enthusiasm.
Horse Racing Tips - Saturday, July 27
13:15 Ascot - Our Terms @ 7/2
Richard Hannon has farmed the opening 6f maiden in recent years, winning the contest six times since 2015, and OUR TERMS can get backers off to a flyer with Ryan Moore booked for the ride.
The Wootton Bassett colt is a half-brother to several winners and his dam won the Queen Mary and the Lowther so he's bred to be smart. He travelled well through his debut when fourth over 7f at Newmarket this month and was hampered slightly in the closing stages.
Dropping back to 6f won't be an issue for Our Terms and with five of the seven runners making their respective debuts, his experience should count for a lot here. It would be no shock to see this lad go off favourite on the day.
14:25 Ascot - Thornbrook @ 9/1
Moving on to the 1m Group 3 Valiant Stakes and it's another horse ridden by Ryan Moore that we are interested in as Irish raider THORNBROOK bids to build on an eyecatching recent run at Leopardstown.
Trained by Joseph O'Brien, the daughter of Saxon Warrior had some smart form at two, finishing third to Meditate in a Curragh Group 2 before contesting the Group 1 Moyglare Stud.
Last year, she won a 1m French Listed race at Chantilly on decent ground before running into third in an Ascot Group 3, and there were signs she was coming back to form when fourth last time, making plenty of headway from rear with a troubled passage. She has to enter the reckoning and has an each-way chance.
15:.00 Ascot - Orazio @ 11/2
One of the big handicaps of the day is the 7f International Stakes and with 18 runners set to go to post it could be tricky to find the winner. However, the potential class act in the race off his current mark could be Charles Hills' ORAZIO.
The son of Caravaggio has only ever raced at 6f and he had a fruitful spell early last year when racking up back-to-back wins at Newmarket and here before finishing sixth when sent off favourite for the Wokingham.
Orazio has been a beaten favourite or joint-favourite in four of his last five outings since, but he hinted that a step up in trip might really suit when flying home to finish third in the Wokingham in June. If he does stay the extra furlong, he should prove very hard to beat.
This is an Extra Place Race, so Betfred will be paying 5 Places instead of 4 at 1/5 Odds.
