Saturday Racing Tips: Paisley Park to win fourth Long Walk Hurdle

Jump racing holds sway across Britain on Saturday, with four meetings taking place across the afternoon.
Ascot is the focus of our attention, with one of the most popular horses in training taken to land his 4th Long Walk Hurdle.
Saturday Racing Tips
14:25 Ascot - Paisley Park @ 13/2
Despite being an 11-year-old, Paisley Park is gearing up to win a fourth Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle and the veteran might be up to doing it at Ascot for trainer Emma Lavelle.
Another win in this prestigious contest would make the fans' favourite the joint most successful horse in the race’s history, tied with the superstar French horse Baracouda.
Paisley Park showed that his ability remains firmly intact when a fast-finishing runner-up behind Stayers’ Hurdle second Dashel Drasher in the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury on seasonal reappearance.
He should come on plenty for the run and this could be his main target of the season given his age. It would be a fantastic story if popular owner Andrew Gemmell could win the race once again.
15:00 Ascot - Larry @ 11/1
Moving on to the 3m Howden Silver Cup Chase – a ferociously competitive contest on paper – and a chance is taken on the Gary Moore-trained Larry to come out on top at juicy odds.
Four of the last six runnings of this race have been won by horses who were sent off at double-digit prices, and the selection has some form in the book that would make him of serious interest.
Larry's form figures at Ascot read 4013513, with both victories coming over this course and distance, and he is now only 1lb higher than when last successful so he is handicapped to strike.
He was given a nice prep for this at Sandown on seasonal reappearance last month and he should be raring to go.
15:35 Ascot - Luccia @ 6/1
The final race on the card at Ascot is a quality 1m7½f handicap hurdle and Nicky Henderson's Luccia could be lurking off a very dangerous mark.
The five-year-old mare went to Cheltenham with a huge reputation in March off the back of winning her first four career starts emphatically, but she disappointed in fourth in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle.
She rounded off her campaign with a good third to Inthepocket in the Grade 1 Top Novices' Hurdle at Aintree, and although she has been beaten both times this season, she could be thrown in on last season's form.
Stablemate Iberico Lord beat her convincingly when third in the Greatwood at Cheltenham last month, but she has an 8lb pull in the weights and she should be seen to better effect on more suitable ground.
