Saturday’s Racing Tips: Scenes to strike on return to Britain

Only three meetings remain scheduled to take place across Britain and Ireland this Saturday and the Irish jumps card from Navan is subject to a morning inspection.
First off is Lingfield on the all-weather, then they are due to jump off at Navan, before an evening all-weather card from Wolverhampton.
Amongst our Saturday fancies is a four-year-old filly trained by James Tate, who has likeable claims in Lingfield's Class 2 Winter Oaks Fillies' Handicap.
Saturday's Racing tips
14.35 Lingfield - Clearpoint @ 9/1
According to the ratings CLEARPOINT will be competing in the best race of the day when he exits a favourable draw from stall five in the Class 2 5f handicap from Lingfield.
The selection's jockey, Harry Davies, should be able to gain a handy prominent pitch throughout before looking to unleash his mount's notable finishing speed in the home straight.
Clearpoint should be suited by Lingfield's Polytrack given his running style and has already won on three of the other all-weather tracks in Britain.
He remains open to further progression from a mark of 92, having registered a personal best Racing Post Rating of 99 when successful over this 5f trip at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start in November.
15.10 Lingfield - Behind The Scenes @ 15/2
The eight-runner Class 2 1m2f Winter Oaks Fillies' Handicap from Lingfield has a great each-way shape to it and BEHIND THE SCENES is worth supporting.
The selection is representing James Tate, who has a healthy 16% strike-rate at the Surrey venue, and Rossa Ryan is resuming his association in the saddle. Ryan is a profitable 20-64 (31% +£46) when riding for Tate on the all-weather.
The daughter of Saxon Warrior is 2-5 on the all-weather and is returning to handicap company from a mark of 87, which came after she registered a personal best Racing Post Rating of 95 when running-on sixth of 15 from a tough draw in a Listed contest at Deauville over a similar trip last month.
15.45 Lingfield - Smart Champion @ 15/2
SMART CHAMPION is another horse worth backing each-way in the 10-runner Class 5 2m handicap that concludes Lingfield's card.
The early markets seem to have largely ignored the nine-year-old's claims despite him being capable of leaving behind the form of his seventh in a slightly stronger Wolverhampton contest recently.
David Simcock has his string in winning form and Hayley Turner is a notable booking for the yard.
The selection is 3-20 over this 2m trip and ran to a Racing Post Rating of 85 on his sole start over this course and distance just under a year ago.
He features off a mark of 65, some 18lb lower than the highest winning rating in his career.
