Horse Racing Tips: Lady Youmzain to spring Listed surprise

We have a good mix of racing action on offer on Saturday, with a little something for everyone, as there are no fewer than eight meetings across Britain and Ireland.
Here's my Saturday horse racing tips, featuring a thoroughly-unexposed Kevin Ryan filly who can spring a minor surprise in Sandown's Scurry Stakes.

14:42 Sandown - Lady Youmzain @ 5/1
Only three favourites have won the Listed Scurry Stakes in the last decade, so it could be worth taking on Words Of Truth, despite the fact that he won the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes last term. Kevin Ryan runs the lightly raced LADY YOUMZAIN and she's very interesting.
Very professional on debut at Beverley last season, she always travelled well and she got to the front with ease entering the final furlong. The turn of foot she showed to quickly put five lengths between her and runner-up Ophelia Grace was very impressive indeed.
Connections have been patient with her and she lined up in a 6f Pontefract novice on her second start. She made all the running on that occasion and won with more in hand than the official margin suggests.
Third in a Listed race at Haydock after that, coming back to 5f is very likely to suit as she’s got plenty of pace and it wouldn't be a surprise to see her come out on top.

15:00 York - Al Qareem @ 2/1
There is lots to like about AL QAREEM's profile, as the seven-year-old is a consistent performer at this sort of level. The son of Awtaad goes on almost any ground and is better than he was able to show behind Jan Brueghel in the Ormonde Stakes at Chester.
He won't face any Classic winners this time around, however, and a return to winning ways could well be on the cards. It's definitely worth noting that he was an impressive winner of this very race last year and that piece of form looks pretty solid.
Al Qareem's impressive victory in the Group 3 Cumberland Lodge Stakes over 1m4f was arguably a career best performance and it came just four starts ago.
The current going of good to firm won't be a problem and a downpour wouldn't rain on his parade either.

15:17 Sandown - Beagle Bay @ 3/1
Ralph Beckett is always a trainer to watch and he runs the potentially unexposed BEAGLE BAY in this £35,000 handicap. The son of New Bay has had just four starts so far and already has two victories to his name and another could well be added to that tally here.
He almost made the perfect start to his career when running a cracker to finish second in a maiden over a mile on debut. Connections decided to drop him back to 7f on his next start at Chelmsford and he produced a powerful display to win by a very comfortable margin.
His below-par display under a penalty at Leicester after that was a bit of a head-scratcher but it appeared to be a one-off, as he bolted up on handicap debut at Yarmouth last month.
A 9lb rise should be fairly manageable on that evidence and he can go in again here.
