Horse Racing Tips: Hot can win with the minimum Fuss on Friday

There are five meetings across Britain and Ireland on Friday, with Jumps action from Exeter, Sedgefield and Sandown Park and all-weather Flat fare from at Newcastle and Dundalk.
I've picked out three horse racing tips for your consideration - including one for Tom Dascombe who bumped into a very smart hurdling debutant last time and could make amends at Sandown.
Horse Racing Tips - Friday, November 6
12:25 Exeter - Sassified @ 10/3
A winner on the Flat in Ireland for Johnny Murtagh, SASSIFIED is a three-time winner over hurdles in Britain and Philip Hobbs & Johnson White's six-year-old looks set to strike again in the extended 2m2f conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle.
The son of Excelebration hasn't won in eight starts in 2024, but he almost took advantage of a falling mark of 81 when finishing runner-up at Wincanton and Taunton a week apart last month.
Sassified's last success came off a handicap mark of 90 at Fontwell last October and he runs off 8lb lower on Friday, so he's certainly well treated on the pick of his form.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
12:48 Sandown - Hot Fuss @ 8/13
The opening race at Sandown is a fascinating 2m juvenile hurdle and it looks like a great opportunity for Tom Dascombe's HOT FUSS to make it second time lucky over timber in the hands of David Bass.
A decent horse on the Flat – he was rated in the mid-90s on the level at his peak – he found only East India Dock too good on his hurdling debut at Wincanton. That horse has since won the Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham by 18 lengths, so it looks extremely strong form.
Hot Fuss didn't have the pace to match East India Dock but he was far from disgraced, beaten only four lengths, and could turn out to be a smart hurdler in his own right.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
13:00 Exeter - Quel Destin e/w @ 16/1
Paul Nicholls' horses have often needed their first run of the season but a chance is taken that QUEL DESTIN will be fit and ready to roll on his seasonal reappearance following a wind operation.
This 2m3f handicap chase is certainly competitive, and he will definitely need to be fit to win, but he won a pair of heavy-ground handicaps in style last season and looks well treated on the pick of that form with Freddie Gingell claiming 3lb.
His record fresh is 23138, so the fact he has won first time up before is a positive, and forecast soft ground is also in his favour.
This is an Extra Place Race, with 3 places on offer instead of 2 at 1/5 the odds for all each-way bets.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
