Horse Racing Tips: Fahey’s Warrior a Strong Friday fancy

A mixture of Flat and Jumps racing takes place across UK and Ireland on Friday with eight meetings running through the afternoon and into the evening.
Amongst our Friday fancies is one for in form trainer Ralph Beckett who has been unlucky on recent starts and remains on a competitive mark.

15:50 Sandown - Man Of La Mancha @ 9/4
MAN OF LA MANCHA hasn't managed to get his head back in front since making a successful handicap debut at Windsor in May. However he has shaped as if his current mark of 80 is within range.
There were excuses for both his last two starts when beaten as favourite, not getting a clear run at Sandown and having his blindfold removed late leaving the stalls at Brighton.
It is probably worth forgiving those runs and his form stacks up well in this grade. Man Of La Mancha remains open to improvement and should go close granted a decent pace to aim at.

16:08 Thirsk - Strong Warrior @ 7/2
Richard Fahey’s STRONG WARRIOR appeals as potentially well handicapped dropping back to this level after a respectable run in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup.
The son of Memhas had previously run well from an opening mark of 91 in a 6f Windsor handicap, pulling clear of the remainder behind a progressive rival.
Strong Warrior will have to contend with a 4lb rise and the step up in trip is unknown, although there are plenty of positives in his pedigree with regards to 7f.
He remains open to any amount of improvement and could make a return to a higher level in the future.

16:25 Sandown - Rogue Dynasty @ 11/4
James Own has had plenty of success when getting horses from other yards, and ROGUE DYNASTY has shown improvement since making the switch.
The daughter of Siyouni won on stable debut at Chester before advancing her form further in defeat over her next two starts, finishing second to subsequent winners on both occasions. That is strong form for this grade and she should take some beating if seeing out the step up in trip.
She has been a keen going type but has a hood on for the first time to help her settle over the extra furlong here. The trip of a mile is an unknown but there is plenty of hope in her pedigree, with her Dam a half sister to top-class miler Attraction.
