Hexham Tips: Robert d’Ores to benefit from Hexham return

There are four meetings taking place on Wednesday across the UK and Ireland and the focus here is on the seven-race jumps card from Hexham.
The going for Wednesday's card is expected to be soft, heavy in places, with racing set to start at 12:20, with the seventh and final race scheduled to commence at 15:20. Read on for our Hexham tips for Wednesday, December 11.
Hexham Tips - Wednesday, December 11
12:20 - Heritier @ 13/8
Lizzie Quinlan's Heritier will look to make it two wins in two in December when running at Hexham on Wednesday.
Heritier was last seen at Carlisle on December 1st, beating Half Track by over two lengths to claim the spoils in an 11-runner field over 2m3.
The going was soft on that occasion, so conditions this week should suit Quinlan's charge.
Connections sent Heritier for wind surgery at the end of September and that looks to be paying dividends after the recent win at Carlisle.
After the comfortable win earlier this month, Heritier was surprisingly kept at the same mark and that should help connections celebrate another victory.

13:50 - Joecooker @ 11/8
Joecooker's last win came at Wexford back in July 2024, but the signs are positive ahead of Wednesday's trip to Hexham.
The five-year-old started his campaign at Hexham in October, but could only finish sixth over 2m.
Rebecca Menzies' charge responded quickly, coming home third at Carlisle later that month.
Joecooker finished really strongly over 2m4f and, with Wednesday's race taking place over the same trip, it would be no surprise to see the five-year-old land the spoils for the second win of his career.

14:20 - Robert d'Ores @ 4/1
George Bewley and his team head to Hexham for the second time in a month with Robert d'Ores finishing second at the track on November 8th.
Jockey Jonathon Bewley claimed the ride that day, as Robert d'Ores finished second by a neck to Twoplacesatonetime.
With the same jockey booked for Wednesday's run, the signs are positive as connections look to win their first race in the paid ranks with the seven-year-old.
After a poor six months this year, Robert d'Ores was sent for wind surgery and it looks like it worked a treat last month.
While he was put up 4lb for that run, the quality of that performance suggests he could land the spoils on this occasion.
This is an Extra Place race, meaning that Betfred are paying 5 Places instead of 4 (1/5 Odds).
