19:28 - Kicksaftersix @ 9/4

Trainer Martin Todhunter has had a quiet few days with only four runners heading to tracks over the last two weeks.

However, Todhunter and his team will hope KICKSAFTERSIX can continue his fine recent form by landing the hat-trick at Hexham.

The nine-year-old has won two on the spin at the track since April 14 and he has only been handed a 5lb penalty by the handicapper.

Jockey Sean Quinlan was on board the last time Kicksaftersix won on May 3, and the pair should be able to beat the likes of C'Est Quelqu-un and Robert d'Ores, who appear to be his two biggest rivals.

20:28 - Well Educated @ 5/4

Connections of WELL EDUCATED will hope history from 12 months ago can repeat itself as their mount returns to Hexham to compete in the Port Of Blyth Handicap Hurdle.

George Bewley's runner won the race 12 months ago, before scoring at Kelso later in the month. Sadly, he has not returned to the winners' enclosure since, but connections have been running him over shorter trips.

A return to 2m4f should be just what he needs, especially when he will only race 2lb heavier than he did last time he won at Hexham.

20:58 - Grand Scheme @ 5/4

The Happy Retirement Charlo Handicap Hurdle brings the card to a close on Tuesday and Sam England's GRAND SCHEME will look to win for the second time in a row.

Grand Scheme joined England's yard in May 2023, but things did not go to plan for the first 12 races, with the seven-year-old unable to break into the top three in any of those events.

While Grand Scheme was consistent with his work, it was always at the wrong end of the field, but that changed earlier this month when he hammered the competition at Southwell.

England's mount won by 15 lengths at the Nottinghamshire track at odds of 5/1 under jockey Jonathan England and the pair will link back up on Tuesday.

The win at Southwell was his first over the bigger obstacles and it appears to have brought the best out of him.

Addosh is the only other runner with a win to his name recently and Grand Scheme should be able to pip that rival in Tuesday's finale.
