Hereford Tips: Iskar d’Airy can follow up Huntingdon success

There’s a six-race jumps card from Hereford on Wednesday afternoon with racing getting underway at 14:30.
Iskar d'Airy returns under a penalty after scoring at Huntingdon last week and Gary & Josh Moore’s runner rates the best bet on the card.
Hereford Tips - Wednesday, March 26
14:30 - Jackeline @ 5/1
Jackeline looked likely to go close when attempting to make all at Huntingdon last time out and, while the six-year-old could only hold on for a fourth-place finish, the Seamus Mullins-trained runner can be upgraded on that effort.
The daughter of Jack Hobbs had all her rivals on the stretch last time out, but jockey Daniel Sansom probably went for home a little too soon on that occasion.
A slight stumble after jumping two out and being badly hampered after the last didn't help Jackeline, but she kept on gamely and that was a promising run.
The six-year-old was dropped a pound for that good effort and she looks capable of giving another bold show, at a big price, in the opening race on the card.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
15:32 - Iskar d'Airy @ 10/11
Iskar d'Airy bossed his rivals when making all at Huntingdon seven days ago and the seven-year-old can follow up under a penalty on Wednesday afternoon.
Gary & Josh Moore's runner benefitted from the return to good ground, as well as the application of a tongue-tie last time out, and looked like a progressive performer under a change of tactics.
The tongue-tie, which the seven-year-old is now two wins from three starts when wearing one, is on again in the two-mile handicap chase at 15:32 and this race doesn't look any stronger than the Huntingdon contest.
Iskar d'Airy bolted up by nine-and-a-half-lengths last time out and a seven-pound penalty is unlikely to stop Moore's charge.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
16:42 - Greenrock Abbey 16:42 @ 17/2
Greenrock Abbey makes a swift reappearance after finishing down the field at Chepstow six days ago, but that run may have put the nine-year-old in peak condition for a return to the scene of former glories.
Kerry Lee's charge has twice been successful over fences at Hereford, with the latest of those victories coming off a mark of 101 two years ago.
Greenrock Abbey is down to a rating of 92 here and, while Lee's runner doesn't arrive in the best form, the gelding showed plenty of enthusiasm to lead turning for home when given a confidence booster over hurdles at Chepstow last week.
The switch back to chasing and the return to Hereford, may inspire an improved performance from Greenrock Abbey and Lee's charge could well make all the running at a decent price.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
