Haydock Park Tips: Nebrook Dream to shine again on soft going

Among the racing action on Friday is a Flat offering from Haydock, involving six races between 13:45-16:40 on ground forecast to be 'soft'.
Our Haydock Park tips includes a lightly-raced youngster with conditions seemingly very much in his favour after a recent success at Leicester.
Haydock Park Tips - Friday, October 18
13:45 - Minella Boss @ 4/1
A novice contest over the mile trip opens proceedings and it is a race in which once-raced Doncaster scorer Yabher is likely to set the tone for William Haggas and Tom Marquand.
The Sea The Stars colt won a good maiden at the St Leger Festival five weeks ago, showing a willing attitude in a bunched finish. There should be more to come from him.
An alternative is MINELLA BOSS for trainer John Nailen. The Golden Horn gelding was second-best on debut last month at Galway, held up and unable to get out after all-the-way winner Trinity College.
That Aidan O'Brien-trained runner has since shaped with promise in Group 2 company at the Curragh.
Minella Boss needs to improve, but should do from first to second run, and when factoring in Sean Bowen's claim, he's in receipt of 10lb from the forecast market leader here. That could be enough to tilt things in his favour.

14:55 - Nebrook Dream @ 3/1
Ground conditions are an unknown for the Haggas-trained nursery newcomer Mamma Maria but she is open to progress now sent handicapping.
The testing surface is of no concern for NEBROOK DREAM after Amy Murphy's Mayson colt won impressively at Leicester (6f, heavy) on his own nursery bow 10 days ago.
He found improvement dropped in trip and with the application of first-time tongue-tie and cheekpieces, with both aids retained here.
He did so when finishing the race off powerfully to get the best of a previous winner that has gone well again since. He has a 6lb penalty to contend with but is open to further improvement now and, with the conditions set to favour him, he may well add a second win to his CV.

15:30 - Seantrabh @ 4/1
This 5f handicap could present a good opening for SEANTRABH to notch his first success in 13 months for trainer Declan Carroll.
The Yorkshire-based Irishman will have been enthused by this month's Redcar third over this trip on soft ground. His four-year-old Tasleet gelding was held up in the 11-runner event and made steady late progress to take third, denied less than a length at the line as the winner Curious Rover dominated up ahead.
Seantrabh is a soft-ground winner already, has plenty of form with give underfoot and is on a workable mark. In-form pair Never Dark and Trilby are solid rivals but that latest Redcar run served notice that this gelding is surely going to get his head in front again soon from a reduced mark.
