During a recent visit to Ben Pauling's yard, stable jockey Ben Jones told Betfred "I genuinely think I do win" the Gold Cup on The Jukebox Man at next week's Cheltenham Festival.
The 26-year-old Welshman was full of praise for the eight-year-old, who's currently 5/1 NRNB for the blue-riband event on the Friday.

He said: "I think he's just classy. Anything he does, he does it pointing his toes and his ears pricked. He's just a very classy animal, he finds everything easy, he's a phenomenal jumper, he travels brilliantly, he's not keen. He's just the ultimate athlete in my eyes."
Jones guided the son of Ask to glory in the King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day, but expects improvement for the return to Prestbury Park.
"He goes a bit left," he went on. "I think a big galloping track is going to be right up his street."
It's fair to say confidence is high in camp, with Jones leaving us on a headline-grabbing quote...
“I've never ridden in a Gold Cup, so I can't tell you what it takes to win, but from what everyone's saying and the stats and everything, I've got a right chance - and I genuinely think I do win.”

On his stable star, Pauling added: "He's got lots of ability, but he's tough. He's a competitor, he's got an unbelievable appetite to win - and I think you need all of those in a top-class horse at this level."
He also provided an emphatic response to those doubting his staying qualities.
"There's some people that question whether he'll stay - I think he will. In fact, I'm confident he will."
