That's correct, as of today, Betfred are non-runner, no-bet on all available Cheltenham races meaning that if you fancy a horse at inflated ante-post odds but are unsure if it will run in that chosen race, you will be safe in the knowledge that should it run in another race or get injured, you will receive your stake back in full!

For instance, Romeo Coolio, winner of the Irish Arkle at the recent Dublin Racing Festival, is an example of one that's between races. Gordon Elliott's suggested he could stay at two miles, but the door isn't closed on a step up to three miles for the Brown Advisory. Similarly, Lossiemouth could be tried in the Champion Hurdle or go back for a third Mares' Hurdle.

Luckily, with our NRNB guarantee, you can happily place your bet, with the knowledge if the trainer goes a different direction, you will still get your cash back to place on other races!

How do you qualify?

Place a bet on the Outright NRNB market on any race at the 2026 Cheltenham Festival after 09:00 on 04/02/26.

What will not qualify?

Any bets placed on markets other than Outright NRNB on any race at the 2026 Cheltenham Festival.
Bets using existing Free Bet funds.
Bets placed on specials markets or boosts.
Tote bets will not qualify for this offer.

What will you receive?

Your money back as cash if your horse is declared a Non-Runner or is not declared for the race you have backed it for.

When will you be credited?

You will be credited upon the official declarations being made.

Official declarations for Cheltenham races will be taken from https://www.britishhorseracing.com/
Where the terms of the offer are breached or there is evidence of collusion by a customer, or group of customers, which seek to guarantee profit irrespective of the outcome, Betfred reserves the right to void the bonus element and settle the bets at the correct odds.
In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Betfred Management Team will be final and based on our Terms and Conditions.
