Bath Racecourse

With six British and Irish meetings taking place across Wednesday there's lots of racing action to cater for all tastes. Amongst it will be the Flat card from Bath, where they have eight races from 17:00-20:40 on ground forecast to be 'Good to firm-good in places'.

We've picked out a trio to follow at the Somerset venue, including the Darryl Holland runner Bluebells Boy, who will have top rider David Egan back aboard.

Another tough puzzle to try and figure out is the mile handicap, but GARDEN VIEW showed plenty of ability last time at Chelmsford and she could take all the beating if she handles turf at the first time of asking.

Behind subsequent Group 3 winner Orne over 7f at Kempton on debut last September when trained by James Tate, she left that yard in October and has had three runs for Mark Usher since the end of March.

She produced by far a career-best performance when second at Chelmsford when last seen over 7f, running on late to good effect. The sharp bends didn't seem to suit her but this track should play more to her strengths as she steps up in trip.

Interestingly, Benoit de la Sayette only has one mount at Bath this evening and that is BY FARHH THE BEST in the 1m2f handicap for trainer Kevin Philippart de Foy, which is also his sole runner on the card.

A solid fourth behind a Godolphin runner on her debut at Wolverhampton in January, the filly was well beaten on two subsequent starts on the all-weather, but she was always going to be a handicap proposition so those runs can be excused.

Bred for turf, she is tackling grass for the first time off a lowly mark of 54 on her handicap debut and she has to be of serious interest stepping up in trip.
