Wednesday Greyhound Tips: Who do we rate from Romford’s runners?

1 pt 19:27 Romford – Whitewood Libre (T3) @ SP

Three from the London Road circuit Romford this evening on an ultra-competitive twelve race card. At 19:27 look out for WHITEWOOD LIBRE, who lines up from T3 in the S1 graded race over the six-bend 575-metre trip. The Gemma Evans-trained railer is a class act who mixed it in top open class action during 2025, running against the likes of Gary The Arb, Tiffield Tarquin and Fabulous Sonique. Two weeks ago, on April 8, Whitewood Libre trapped well and recorded a quick-away-made-all success over course and distance, clocking 35.80 following a 14.01 sectional.

A repeat of that run would put the October 2022 daughter of No Green Dye in the mix this evening. Unmistakeable (T4) rates as a huge danger. Back on March 6, the lightly raced son of Koblenz recorded 35.35 when winning by over seven lengths and would be a huge runner with a smart exit tonight. Bubbly Carvo (T1) will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 20:01 Romford – Bubbly Dakota (T5) @ SP

The A10 graded race at 20:01 over the four-bend 400-metre trip at Romford can go to June 2024 pup BUBBLY DAKOTA who runs from T5. The Paul Young-trained wide seed caught the eye in defeat last time out, showing nice pace throughout when finishing third beaten half a length following a bump at the second bend.

Tonight, if Bubbly Dakota brings his trapping boots he can turn with the pace and hit the front down the back straight and power clear of the chasing pack. The key is what happens at the boxes. It's imperative that Bubbly Dakota pings the lids and turns with Tip Top Katie (T1) and Back To Front (T2), who will both attempt to lead round at the rails. Mickey Red (T3) will be staying on well and would be a danger to all if within striking distance off the final bend.

1 pt 21:11 Romford – Droopys Standby (T5) @ SP

The third and final selection from Romford this evening is DROOPYS STANDBY, who runs from T5 in the S2 graded race at 21:11. The consistent wide seed trained by Paul Young mixes it in open race, S1 and S2 company around Romford and is a credit to his trainer and connections. Tonight, Droopys Standby will be looking to lead wide and turn with likely leader Rapido Conti from runs from T1. If Droopys Standby turns with the pace his natural middle gears can see him hit the front by the fourth bend and power clear.

Swift Fly (T3) ran a cracker last time out over course and distance when narrowly beaten in an open race clocking 35.57, finishing third. The May 2023 son of Burgess Bucks would be a huge runner if he popped out and led round. Class dropper and kennelmate to the selection Full Monty (T2) is worth noting in the market. In recent weeks, Full Monty has run against Inca Lewie, Tiffield Tarquin and Bacon Frazzles. This represents an ease in grade and its one he's sure to appreciate.
