2 pt 14:26 Oxford – Savana Pyjamas (T1) @ SP
Today we head to Oxford for an ultra-competitive card featuring ten graded races over the two and four-bend distances. At 14:26 look out for SAVANA PYJAMAS, who lines up from T1 for trainer Terence Nevin. In recent weeks, the August 2023 daughter of Serene Ace has proven a little expensive to follow beaten her last six, starting as the race favourite in five of those. Today, she’s likely to be short in the market again, but with a plot draw to work from and a recent downgrade from the racing manager, she looks a strong bet. The key will be the break and run into the corner.
In a race lacking early pace, Savana Pyjamas could even lead round. If that happens, she will bolt up. Savana Pyjamas is also more than capable of winning this from off the pace, if she’s within striking distance at the third bend, its race on. Selker Bay Daisy (T3) rates as the main danger. She could be the one to pop out and take them along in the early stages.

1 pt 15:03 Oxford – Rapido Ingle (T1) @ SP
At 15:03 all eyes will be on the Barry Buckhurst-trained railer RAPIDO INGLE when the May 2022 son of Droopys Wildcat lines up from T1 in the A4 graded race over the standard four-bend 450-metre trip at Oxford. Ingle has recently returned to action following a layoff since October. Two recent runs would have blown away the cobwebs and, with a plot draw to work from this afternoon, he looks a strong betting proposition.
Sporting Haven (T2) is inconsistent at the boxes and Miss Newbury (T3) eased on the run-up recently and often edges off at lid rise and that could mean trouble for Geneva Eagle in T4. Savana Brendo (T6) can show nice pace into the corner but stays wide. Everything points towards Rapido Ingle smashing out the boxes, leading round and taking this A4 graded race.

1 pt 15:41 Oxford – Alohas Dream (T2) @ SP
The third and final selection from Oxford this afternoon is the Terence Nevin-trained railer ALOHAS DREAM from T2 in the D3 graded sprint at 15:41. The July 2023 daughter of Roxholme Nidge was knocked over in early December and returned to action last week and hinted that a win would be around the corner. Prior to her enforced layoff, Alohas Dream was a consistent D2 performer.
Today she looks well-drawn in D3 and, with a smart exit from the traps, she can lead round and make all. On the bunny, Alohas Dream has previously clocked 15.32, a repeat of that would see her take this by two or three lengths. Savana Legacy (T5) is six from nineteen in the grade and is worth noting in the market. Selker Bay Emily (T1) is often sent off at fancy prices and could be worth including in forecast bets.
