US Open Golf 2025 Tee Times: Check when McIlroy, Scheffler and DeChambeau blast off at Oakmont
The 2025 US Open tees off at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania on Thursday morning, with 156 golfers getting prepared for what will be a brutal course set up with fast greens, long rough and only two par-5s.

US Open Golf 2025 Tee Times
- Dates: June 12-15, 2025
- Venue: Oakmont Country Club, Pennsylvania
- Course Specs: Par-70, 7,342yds - only 2 par-5s, stimpmeter greens running 14’5”-14’9” (FAST!)
- Field: 156 players, inc. 15 amateurs, 15 LIV golfers, from 26 countries
- Entries: a record 10,202 players attempted to enter, 156 made the cut
US Open Tee Times - Rounds 1 & 2
Amateur Matt Vogt will have the honour of teeing off first at this year’s US Open at 06:45 local time, 11:45 BST.
An unfamiliar name to the majority of golf followers, American Vogt is a 34-year-old dentist who used to caddie at Oakmont, so he should know his way around!
Amongst the marquee groups, look out for Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Justin Rose off at 12.40 BST on Thursday, whilst second favourite and last year’s winner Bryson DeChambeau tees off with Xander Schauffele and Jose Luis Ballester Barrio at 12.29.
Tournament favourite Scottie Scheffler tees off in the afternoon, 13:25 local time, 18:25 BST, alongside Victor Hovland and Collin Morikawa.
World number one Scheffler has three wins in his last four starts, including the USPGA Championship and is a hot favourite here at 3/1 in our eight places book.
Second fav is the aforementioned DeChambeau at 7/1, whilst Rory McIlroy is an 11/1 chance.
