Wolves vs Man City Prediction: City to pile further misery on rock-bottom hosts

Manchester City could move to the top of the Premier League table for a couple of hours at least, should they get the better of Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon at Molineux (14:00, live on Sky Sports Main Event).
It's been a difficult start to the season for the hosts, who come into the weekend rock-bottom of the table, with just one point from their opening seven matches. Read on for my Wolves vs Man City prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.
Wolves vs Man City Betting Tips
Team News
Wolves suffered a fresh blow during the international break, as Hwang Hee-chan hurt his ankle in South Korea's World Cup qualifier against Jordan.
Yerson Mosquera, Sasa Kalajdzic, Enso Gonzalez and Boubacar Traore all remain on the treatment table for Gary O'Neil, but Matheus Cunha will get the nod up top, having scored three goals in the Premier League from six starts this term.
As for the visitors, Kevin De Bruyne and Nathan Ake both have outside chances of featuring, while Oscar Bobb isn't expected to return from his leg fracture until December at the earliest.
In addition, Rodri continues his recovery from an ACL injury for the visitors, meaning that Mateo Kovacic could once again start in midfield.

City are 3/10 to win on Sunday, giving them an implied win probability of 76.9%, while Wolves are 8/1 to claim their first victory of the season. The draw can be backed at 5/1, and both teams to score is currently priced up at 8/11.
Man City to win and both teams to score @ 6/4
The defending champions are yet to lose in any competition this campaign with seven wins in 10 games, or 11 if you include the Community Shield.
City won 5-1 when these sides met in a reverse fixture towards the end of last season, and with the hosts on a five-game losing streak the visitors look well favoured to come away with the three points.
However, Wolves have managed to score in their last eight games - including in defeats to Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa - and it's well-documented how City struggle defensively without Rodri, so backing Pep Guardiola's side to win and both teams to score appeals here.

Erling Haaland to score 2 or more goals @ 12/5
If Wolves defend in any way like they did against Brentford prior to the international break - where they shipped five to the Bees - then this could be a field day for Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian has struck 10 goals in seven Premier League appearances this season and will be desperate to find the net having blanked against Newcastle and Fulham.
The 24-year-old bagged a brace for his country during the international break, and has scored eight goals in just four league outings against Wolves - averaging a goal once every 40 minutes.
