Wolves vs Sheffield United Bet Builder Tips: Neto to hit magic 10 in 5/1 #PickYourPunt

Wolverhampton Wanderers' unlikely charge for a European berth sees them take on Premier League straddlers Sheffield United next, with the game taking place at Molineux on Sunday afternoon (KO, 13:30).

Gary O'Neil's side upset the odds to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at their own stadium last weekend, a result which saw them go six points clear of 12th-placed Fulham. Wolves are now level on points with Chelsea and just three points off Brighton & Hove Albion in seventh place, which could secure European football next season.

Their next opponents, meanwhile, are battered and bruised after taking a 5-0 beating off Brighton last Sunday. That was the Blades' fourth defeat in their last five - three of them coming in the Premier League - and they have shipped 16 goals during that period, though their last game on the road saw them win 3-1 at Luton Town.

Below we have put together a Bet Builder using Betfred's #PickYourPunt feature for Sunday's only Premier League fixture.

Wolves vs Sheffield United Bet Builder Tips:

  • Over 3.5 goals
  • Hwang Hee-chan to score anytime
  • Pedro Neto 1+ assists

Betfred's #PickYourPunt feature pays @ 5/1

Over 3.5 goals

Both sides have been involved in some high-scoring encounters lately. Wolves began February with a 4-3 defeat at home to Manchester United before beating Chelsea 4-2 at Stamford Bridge, while over 3.5 goals has landed in all seven of Sheffield United's games in 2024, with the Blades hit for five in three of their last five.

With Arsenal to visit Bramall Lane on March 4 and trips to Bournemouth and Manchester United to follow, Blades boss Chris Wilder will be well aware of the importance of picking up at least a point on Sunday. If they go behind, they could well open up, as they have done on many occasions this term, and that should lend itself to a high-scoring game, with most of the goals expected to go in the home side's favour.

Hwang Hee-chan  to score anytime

The South Korea international hasn't scored for his club side since bagging a brace at Brentford on December 27, with last weekend marking his first appearance of the calendar year in black and gold after his involvement in the AFC Asian Cup.

Hwang didn't manage to find the net on his return to domestic action, but he should get plenty of chances to add to his 10 Premier League goals this season against a Sheffield United side that has conceded a mammoth 65 goals in 25 league games.

The continued absence of Matheus Cunha means further opportunities and chances should land his way as he leads the line in the Brazilian's absence.

Pedro Neto 1+ assists

The Portuguese winger laid on seven goals in his first 10 Premier League games of the season before he was struck down by injury. He made his return at the end of December, and after failing to register an assist in his first three games, Neto now has two in his last three games, including a superb one last time out at Tottenham Hotspur.

Only Kieran Trippier and Ollie Watkins (both 10) have registered more league assists than the 23-year-old, and the ex-Lazio and Braga man will be confident of at least drawing level with that duo this weekend as he faces the division's worst side.
