West Ham United vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips: 14/1 shot for away win

West Ham United got themselves off to a flying start after the international break as they stunned Newcastle United at St James’ Park to come away with all three points. Now Julen Lopetegui will look to take that momentum into the weekend as his side host Arsenal (17:30, Sky Sports Main Event), after the Gunners enjoyed a big win over Sporting CP in midweek.
Arsenal will want to attempt to close the gap on league leaders Liverpool, and below you can find West Ham United vs Arsenal Bet Builder.

Arsenal to win
This is actually a really tough game to predict given the stunning performance West Ham put in last time out, and the fact that they had a break in midweek while Arsenal had to go to Portugal and back. However, despite their midweek endeavours, I simply have to back the away side to come out with all three points here.
The 5-1 win over Sporting CP, who themselves battered Manchester City 4-1 recently, will have given Mikel Arteta and his players a massive confidence boost, and they simply have to kick on from here in the Premier League. They are only one point behind Man City, which isn’t a bad position to be in, but the Citizens’ own underperformance means they are both trailing in the wake of Arne Slot’s Liverpool.
West Ham United vs Arsenal Odds
Arsenal looked like the number one contenders to pounce if City did slip up after the past two seasons of going close, but instead it has been the Reds who have taken advantage. It means the Gunners have to put a string of wins together if they are to realise their dream of lifting the Premier League trophy in May. Despite West Ham’s impressive performance last time out, I will back the away side to edge this one.
BTTS
I will back the home side to score in this game for a number of reasons. They looked pretty lethal against Newcastle and have now seen both teams find the net in seven of their 12 matches so far. That success rate of 58 per cent is slightly below average, but I think on home soil they can test an Arsenal side who have not been as defensively sound as you might expect this year.
With Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio and Crysencio Summerville, as well as the aerial threat of Tomas Soucek from set pieces, West Ham should be able to find the net even in defeat. This London derby has all the ingredients to be a cracking match, and I think both teams will play their part from a goalscoring perspective.
Bukayo Saka and Jarrod Bowen to score
I’ll pick out two goalscorers to push our odds a bit further, and make this Bet Builder a 14/1 shot. Saka returned from the break looking refreshed, after a slightly slow start to the season in terms of goals. However, after two weeks off, he scored one and got an assist at home to Nottingham Forest, before also bagging a goal and an assist in Portugal on Tuesday night.
That form should carry into this game against a team he tends to do pretty well against. Meanwhile Bowen only has three league goals to his name this term but I just have a feeling he may get some joy on the counter-attacking against this Arsenal defence. These two are competing for a starting spot for England, and I think they could both make their mark on Saturday night.
