West Ham claimed a valuable 1-0 win over Olympiakos in the Europa League on Thursday, but they have lost their last three Premier League matches going into Sunday's clash with Nottingham Forest.

The Hammers will be looking to top scorer Jarrod Bowen for inspiration against the Tricky Trees and the in-form England winger features in our #PickYourPunt which pays 17/2.

Under 3.5 total goals

West Ham beat Nottingham Forest 4-0 in this fixture last season but all four of their goals came in the final 20 minutes and under 3.5 goals looks a solid #PickYourPunt selection on Sunday.

The Hammers had to work hard to see off Olympiakos 1-0 on Thursday, when Lucas Paqueta scored a late winner, and Forest are unlikely to roll over at the London Stadium.

Only two of their first 11 Premier League games this season have produced over 3.5 goals and they have kept clean sheets on away trips to Chelsea and Crystal Palace as well as in last weekend's home win over in-form Aston Villa.

Forest have scored only 12 goals in those 11 league fixtures, averaging a modest 3.5 shots on target per game, so a high-scoring contest looks unlikely on Sunday.

Edson Alvarez to be carded

Edson Alvarez's tough-tackling displays in midfield have endeared him to West Ham supporters, if not to Premier League referees, and the Mexican enforcer may well pick up another yellow card against Forest.

Alvarez was suspended for last weekend's defeat at Brentford after amassing five bookings in his first nine league appearances since signing from Ajax in the summer.

That ban seems unlikely to temper his aggressive approach - he was also booked on his return to action against Olympiakos on Thursday - and he can expect a feisty midfield scrap against Forest's Ibrahim Sangare and Orel Mangala, who have collected eight yellows in a combined 17 outings this term.

Jarrod Bowen to score anytime

While Forest are short of in-form forwards, the Irons' Jarrod Bowen has scored seven goals in 11 Premier League appearances this season and he also found the net in the 3-1 EFL Cup win over Arsenal on 1st November.

Bowen has already eclipsed last season's tally of six league goals and the winger, whose 90th-minute strike sealed June's Europa Conference League final victory over Fiorentina, is playing with great confidence.

He was named in Gareth Southgate's latest England squad this week and is well clear at the top of West Ham's Premier League shot statistics, averaging 2.9 attempts at goal per game.

Bowen had ten shots in West Ham's recent home fixtures against Everton and Sheffield United and, with his side strong favourites against Forest, he should cause problems for Sunday's visitors to the London Stadium.
