I'd rather not talk about last week's picks...
Our selection of over 52.5 booking points in Newcastle United vs Chelsea landed, but that was as good as it got as Manchester United sailed to a 3-0 victory over Everton, and Mohamed Salah wasn't on the scoresheet against Manchester City.
However, with plenty of festive footy on the horizon, we're back with three bets for this weekend's Premier League action.
Arsenal to win and both teams to score vs Wolverhampton Wanderers @ 2/1
Arsenal are playing well and they’re clearly the stronger side here, but their defence could be breached by a Wolves team who are on an incredible scoring run.
The visitors have found the net in their last 12 Premier League games, the second-longest run in the club’s history. They’ve looked threatening going forward in every game this term and they can grab a goal at the Emirates, in my opinion.
However, the visitors have lost four of their seven away trips this campaign, and Arsenal have gone unbeaten across seven home league games, winning five. The Gunners will prove to be too strong and the result is a given for me, so you're essentially getting 2/1 to back Wolves to score here, which is brilliant value.
Newcastle to beat Manchester United @ 9/10
I'm surprised that Newcastle are a shade under even money to beat Manchester United on Saturday - I thought they'd be a lot shorter after winning six of their last seven home games.
Manchester United's recent Premier League results makes them the most in-form side in the league, but they come into this match off the back of surrendering 2-0 and 3-1 leads in a crucial Champions League tie against Galatasaray.
Newcastle won 3-0 away at Old Trafford last month in the Carabao Cup, and with their impressive home form, I'm expecting another comfortable win here.
Brighton to beat Chelsea @ 16/5
Although Brighton are away from home in this fixture, I just couldn't ignore this price.
Chelsea are a difficult side to work out - one week they look brilliant, and the next they look woeful. The Blues have won only three of their 19 Premier League home games in 2023, and managed just one clean sheet in 11.
Brighton are unbeaten in their last seven outings since their 2-1 defeat away at Manchester City in October, and although some fatigue may creep in after their Europa League clash on Thursday, I still think the Seagulls have enough to stun a Chelsea side who have only won once in the league at Stamford Bridge this term.
