Udinese are still on the hunt for their first Serie A win of the season and will hope to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone when they host Lecce on Monday evening.

The visitors could be a tough side to beat, though, with I Salentini sitting a comfortable ninth in the table and avoiding defeat in six of their eight league assignments.

Udinese vs Lecce Betting Tips

  • Draw @ 11/5
  • Lecce or draw double chance & Nikola Krstovic to score anytime @ 3/1

Team news

Udinese midfielder Sandi Lovric will return to the starting line-up after serving his suspension before the international break, potentially replacing Lazar Samardzic.

Defenders Enzo Ebosse and Kingsley Ehizibue, as well as forwards Gerard Deulofeu, Brenner and Keinan Davis all remain sidelined, with five of those six players yet to make an appearance this season.

Left-sided forward Lameck Banda is fit to play and should return for Lecce for the first time in over a month, with the 22-year-old expected to replace Gabriel Strefezza.

Midfielder Alexis Blin is still sidelined after injuring his heel against Napoli, while Kastriot Dermaku is yet to make an appearance this season and is ruled out on Monday.

Draw @ 11/5

Udine find themselves precariously perched on the edge of the Serie A relegation zone after failing to win any of their first eight matches, but their five-point tally so far suggests they can be a difficult side to beat.

I Bianconeri have drawn five of their eight league assignments and could be set for another stalemate when they host ninth-placed Lecce at the Bluenergy Stadium.

The visitors have only lost twice this term and they came against Italian powerhouses Juventus and Napoli, while three of their eight outings have ended all square.

With both teams scoring in all three of I Giallorossi’s draws this season and two of them ending 1-1, backing the spoils to be shared alongside a 1-1 correct score punt at 11/2 is suggested.

Lecce or draw double chance & Nikola Krstovic to score anytime @ 3/1

Lecce have lost only twice this season so they should be good for at least a point against the winless Udinese, with Nikola Krstovic set to make an impact again.

The 23-year-old Montenegro international has scored four goals in seven appearances since signing from DAC 1904 in the summer, with two of those goals coming in three away games.

He found the net 18 times in the Slovak Super Liga last term and scored Lecce’s only goal of the game against Sassuolo last time out.

Match Odds

Hosts Udinese are 23/20 favourites to end their 12-game winless run in Serie A on Monday, while you can back them to draw for a sixth time at 11/5 and Lecce are firm 5/2 underdogs to claim three points.

The market suggests a relatively low-scoring affair could be on the cards, with over 2.5 goals on offer at 11/10 and under 2.5 goals coming in at 4/6.
