Turkey vs Georgia Prediction: Montella’s men to clinch low-scoring win
Turkey and Georgia begin their Euro 2024 campaigns on Tuesday afternoon (17:00) as the two sides meet at Signal Iduna Park, live on BBC One.
The Crescent-Stars come into this tournament off the back of a strong qualifying campaign, losing just once, while the Crusaders will want to do more than just make up the numbers in Germany. Read on for my Turkey vs Georgia prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Turkey lost Enes Unal, Caglar Soyuncu and Ozan Kabak to injuries ahead of the tournament, while Hakan Calhanoglu will captain the side from midfield this summer.
The promising Arda Guler is expected to start on Tuesday, with the Real Madrid forward impressing at club level despite limited game time.
Baris Alper Yilmaz is expected to lead the line for Vincenzo Montella's side, with Kenan Yildiz playing just behind in the number 10 role.
As for Georgia, Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will carry the hopes of the nation on his shoulders, and he's expected to start out wide on Tuesday.
Solomon Kvirkvelia will be eager to overcome an injury issue to feature in the middle of the defence, while Georges Mikautadze could join Kvaratskhelia in the final third after scoring 10 goals this season for Metz.
Turkey are favourites for the game at 8/11 - which gives them a theoretical chance of 57.9% of winning the Group F opener - while the draw can be backed at 13/5 and a Georgia win is priced up at 4/1.
Both teams to score is marketed at 11/10, while Turkey are 4/1 to win both halves, with Georgia 20/1 for the same bet.
Turkey to win and under 2.5 goals @ 9/4
As mentioned in the introduction, Turkey lost just one of their eight qualifying matches as they topped Group D on 17 points – one point ahead of runners-up Croatia.
Montella's men have won three of their last five meetings with Georgia, although the most recent of these came back in 2012 in a 3-1 victory in a international friendly.
Turkey have plenty of tournament experience to draw upon here, and my fear for Georgia could be that the lights are little bit too bright for them. I'm not expecting plenty of goals, despite Turkey netting 14 goals during qualification which was the most of any side in Group D, as Kerem Akturkoglu and Cenk Tosun were their top scorers with two goals each.
Arda Guler to score anytime @ 5/2
Guler should be ready to shine for his country on Tuesday, as the Real Madrid man has impressed this term.
The 19-year-old managed to score six goals in 12 outings for Real Madrid following his high-profile move last summer, finishing the season with a flourish. I think 5/2 for him to score anytime represents decent value, and is certainly worth backing considering Turkey don't possess an out-and-out reliable goalscorer.
Correct Score - Turkey to win 2-0 @ 13/2
If I had to pick a scoreline for this match, I'm going for a 2-0 win for Turkey.
Georgia will be heavily reliant on the talent of forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and if Turkey can contain the Napoli forward, then they could be relatively untroubled.
As mentioned above, Turkey were top scorers in Group D in qualifying and should be able to continue this form, with a correct score bet of 2-0 full of value at 13/2.
